My four-wheeler is a new Skoda; economical, cheap, flexible (kids, drumsets, building material, saxophones, bikes, you name it, it goes in my car). It has a trailer hook for transporting big stuff.
I lashed out and got a 2-liter motor; officially for hauling the trailer but really for overtaking BMWs on the Autobahn. You have to take your fun where you find it at my age.
The great thing about a cheap car is, when the kids ding it I don't really get mad. I pretend to and they have to get it mended and get banned for a few weeks. They don't get the same treatment in the spousal unit's big Audi.

You didn't specify the isolation level.
It probably would make the road a safer place to be :P

You might consider refactoring CornerLeftAtSpeed()
...
public void Corner(Direction direction, double speed)
...
public enum Direction
{
Unknown,
Right,
Left,
Straight,
}

Everyone that can do so should use public transportation whenever possible. That's easy to say (err, write), since I'm unemployed and have no urgent, daily transportation needs. When I left my last job, I sold my car and have been buying six month bus passes. I like it. It's a heck of a lot better than than the hassle and stress of fighting traffic. (Let the bus drivers do that.) Of course, I know it isn't always practical for everyone, particularly in some areas - it didn't work for me before because of the limited bus schedules and routes. Now, I hope to land work somewhere on a bus route ...

Obviously you don't live in Australia!
A train station is where the train stops. A bus station is where the bus stops. On my desk, I have a work station....

Are you also able to read the news while driving? That takes you some additional 20 minutes, so you save time using public transport! (unless it's really 10 mins to 50, which it is usually not in urban areas). Or have you tried sleeping at the wheel? I don't hope so!

Public transportation works well in and around many of the largest cities. However, outside of those, most of the US has very poor public transportation. I commute 66 miles, one way, to and from work each day. My destination is a metropolitan area with about 1/4 million people in it. There is no public transit alternative. The only public transit in my area goes east and west, between a few large towns (although they call themselves "cities"). My commute is to the northeast, taking me far north of the existing public transit routes.

In addition to the above comment:
Hmmm, be home in 15 mintues or 4 days (possibly)... And no I don't live anywhere particularly remote, there's fantastic road networks, it's just that buses don't use them. The nearest bus to us is an hours (fast) walk away and only comes (at best) twice a week.
I doubt it. If it isn't intuitive then we need to fix it. - Chris Maunder

Amazing how safety is not in the options.
Seeing that people kill them selves and others by the hundreds of thousand every year, I would think that safety would be the first option on any sane person's mind.

what does that say about he person who put the poll together??
Guess they don't wear seat belts or look for other safety features in cars.

What does car has to do with programming?
When I interview people, I give them piece of paper and pencil and ask them to build me a house for a set of family having x bedrooms and y bath rooms. The whole exercise is to observe their thinking process and problem solving skills. I don't judge one particular issue, rather I see how they approach the problem at hand, what questions pops up in their head and how do they go about solving them.
The losers are those who draw me a picture of house. That shows me lack of critical thinking and rush to a judgment.
May be my next technique will be asking them to design a car for me.

Just now learning what a foundation is ... ~that~ is interesting... too narrow interests, abilities and rounded knowledge about the world...
I think the best programmers are people who have life experience, have held more than one -type- (read 'type' as NOT more than one type of --programming-- ) of job and have been through life's school of hard knocks, instead of some book smart college grad who is wet behind the ears, but can code retinal scanning image routines in ten minutes. In my opinion, these types continue to make the same fundamental mistakes from a "what is the real purpose of this software" or "how can we solve the bigger picture problem" perspective.

Only Volvo. I believe that these machines combine everything needed for a comfortable driving for me.

they just lack style.
In the UK, Volvo drivers are a joke.. they can't.
