I count myself very lucky to live somewhere that I have a bike track just around the corner from home that ends within metres of my office. I bet not many people have it that easy - riding in is a breeze, and the only exercise I get.

Then again, if you live in Canada, or northern US, you could have meant ice skates..
Interestingly, I onced lived in New Hampshire (northern USA), where I witnessed somebody cross-country skiing down a road after a heavy snowfall... I think skiiing should have been an option in this poll.
No generalization is 100% true.
