I think some of them are okay. You have to be careful though. Some go into spriritual rubbish (my ex was in to those) that are just nonsense.

There was one that I got a sampler for, as part of a business self help series, with some crazy woman called Lisa Jemenez (I think) and she was just nuts. She kept saying how wonderful it was to be her. So, no help there! I can't imaging that anyone would buy her course based on that sampler.
