"Keep Your Feet Dry"
This phrase alludes to avoiding the maintance of an excessively hydrated state on the lower extremities. This may be facilitated via (1) avoiding splashing in puddles, (2) Use of a towel.
It is an admonishment oft targeted by a mother to her spawn. (Disappointed?)
Well - I often go by Balboos HaGadol - but if I wish to be famous, you may as well attribute them to my duller personna (and only friend): Steve Miller.

Steve, I will include a quote or two when I finally update my site. You, on the other hand, can start planning to take over the world right away.
Cheers,

An interesting preposition.
A lot of decisions to consider. For example, should you be given a cabinet postion or used as an example to warn others.* I considered offering a martyr option, but it's just so over-used these days. Perhaps the figurehead/target route? These things are just so hard to decide.
Now, on a more serious note:
Vikram A Punathambekar wrote: You, on the other hand, can start planning to take over the world right away
My plan is already in place - I'm simply waiting for them to come crawling to me with the offer of Grand Emperor-Deluxe and Royal Smart Person. I can hear them grovel deep within my minds eye . . .
. . . Stop. Wait. what is this that you have done to me? Am I going mad? <Power, must have More pow> Must maintain control <er. It's for their own goo>. Losing control. The hunger. It grows. It must be satified . . . appeased . . . Sated. Make haste. Warn those that are left - before it's too late!
Must I rule, yet again? Is there truly no other?

The MODIFICATION:
Those those of you wondering - it's out of my system for know. I think it brought on by being exposed to so VB code.
*You needn't have done anything to earn any of these distinctions. I consider random acts to be much more effective at controlling the populous. It's served me well, so far, against the evil 'USER' of applications.

Drown my concerns in the arms of a woman.
Afterwards, lay back and consider how to put the blame squarely where it belongs: management.
(This seems like a much more pleasant and just option than others offered so far).

Not enough time to cook, must work. So end result: "Hello, Dominoes pizza"

Domino's and Papa John's already know my order. They don't even answer the phone, they just hang up and in 30 minutes my pizza arrives.....man I gotta get out of doing Litigation work...LOL.

Do you mean general eating or eating well.
I could never neglect eating. I change keyboards regularly because of things (crumbs, gravy, fruit juice) that get in becaue I am always eating as I work. the moment I can't find something to nibble on after a few hours, I stop coding, watch a movie, sleep, or try to see the few friends I have because those got neglected as part of the job and I am now making amends.
Let's make things simpler than possible.

ah man, Gravy in the keyboard...

I watch a lot of comedies, like right now. Just finished my daily quota, drinking coke and having a sandwich. Sometimes I reach for something, knock over the thermos flask, coke bottle or just drop a few drops of whatever (gravy was only once though - I was in college and my mother has not forgotten that one)
But I never neglect eating. (Not overweight though. High metabolic rate and still have the same body I had when I was in the tae-kwon-do team).
Let's make things simpler than possible.

No one's mentioned exercise-neglect. I guess that means none of you would dream of sacrificing a single minute of muscle-burning activity just for some ol' deadline! Unless, of course, it means that exercise doesn't rank too highly around here - even with plenty of free time
Anyway that's probably the first area to suffer when I get hectic. That, and my prescence on the CP forums...

Yeah that definetely suffers, but I try not to let it because as I get more and more unfit I struggle to concentrate for long amounts of time.

I would have put that, except my excercise regime suffered the day I decided to pursue software development as a career option.
One day I'm in the national tae-kwon-do squad and you can't get me to stop training, the next, my training times clash with my study/lesson times and I never returned to the do-jang. It's been many years now, and the annual invitation to the national championships has been discontinued.
Let's make things simpler than possible.

when you reach deadline the problem when you work for your organization and they change there requirements every second not
Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it

On the button! Not such a problem getting to the deadline itself....but 3 weeks from the date you get a whole new Product Requirement that needed at least 3 months to be developed...and they want it in by RC...

I haven't missed a deadline yet (mind you I've had the advantage that most of the time I'm the only one coding and the one deciding the deadlines...)

All save personal hygiene and food are neglected. But I found a good shower refreshes and gives me a second wind after 16 hours of non-stop development. That 15 minutes of hot water pouring over me and pounding out my aches helps to rejuvenate and get me going for another 4 or 5 hours. And I can't conventrate when my stomach growls, so I do eat, although it isn't a fancy sit down meal. It's normally a ham sandwich, steak hoagie (ordered in) or a pizza (also ordered in) with a pitcher of ice tea or a two-liter of Diet Coke/Mountain Dew (anything cold and caffeinated).
