Is it possible to do like : (SOHeader is a table)
var a= from p in SOHeader.AsEnumerable()
where p.Field<datetime>("SO_Date").Month==DateTime.Now.Month
select new
{
Year = p.Field<int>("Date")
};

I don't use Gridviews.
I have loaded my Datatable with data from a List<class objects="">.
My requirement is to load data from List<Objects> to the Datatable which have date of this month. Or show data of this month from Datatable. I prefer to choose Linq.

Yes, I have db connection, and got data in it.
As of now, I have made a set of if...else based on the selections made, and executed it...Then I bind the dataset to Gridview on button click. But, what happens is whatever selections I make in the checkboxlists and dropdownlists, the result remains the same.
I have placed the gridview and button in an "Update Panel". Do I need to place the Checkboxlists and dropdownlists also in the Update Panel ?

@Tejas
This thing worked super fine.
I have a few more doubts with the same.
In my c# code, I am actually passing the userid using an iteration.
So, each time, this stored proc is called, a row is created.
1) How would I append each rows created in this way to a common gridview ?
2) I do not actually want to display the skill count and qualification count in the gridview, but instead I need to sort the above results based on skill count. How is that possible ?

I tried "join", but I don't know how to link those tables, based on my needs.

My c# code:-
string Doc_Content = doc.Content.Text;
string str = Doc_Content;

cmd3.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
cmd3.Parameters.Add("@flag", 2);
//Loop with the foreach keyword.
