Sorry about that and I have posted my answer below. Using impersonation class won't work. We should use Process to open the Excel in different user credentials.

The user has the full control over the network path which I am trying to access.
The UNC path is similar to the one you have given.

Unfortunately you don't have any solution with you. Its just about free advice. Thanks for that. I would agree with your points. But my clients will not agree to that. At least, I should give a try to bring out the best solution to this.

You're right. But I just want to hide the title bar/close button. Is there any solution for that?

I am hosting an excel application inside the windows form host of WPF. I can see my application is closing, if we close the excel which is hosted inside it. However, user can even close it using many ways, I just want to hide this option.
@CHill60 I tried the above link.

Thanks Dave. I am clear about the Membership and now I want to perform Owin authentication by comparing the values from the DB.

It is about using the SQL Membership in the Owin for authentication.

How can we detect the postback operation from client side? If it is detected, I can use the above codes to restrict tab key.

I have a ajax update progress with transparent screen and loading image at the center. My question is whether we can temp block the 'tab' key press until the postback operation completes?

As the next control which will do postback after focusing out from it, the next thread will be start running before completing the first thread's operation. This ends in unexpected results.

FirstorDefault will be returning a single value.I think you will be calling this functionality indefinite times or else u'll be looping around it several times.

Strange case. Else you might be binding the values again @ someother location.I think when you push update link Gridview is binding again before taking new value. You must use if(!IsPostBack) before GridView.DataBind().

Please check whether ur gridPedido's Data source was updated as per ur changes. Your updated value is not in the data source and so its happening.
DataTable dtlineas = f.ObtenerLineasPedidoWeb(Session["Pedido"].ToString()); check this line while debugging.

The above code is to update the listitem li alone and I have to know how to use that li to update the ddl.items? The ddl.attributes["title"] can be used but it cannot reflect the values in all individual items. The final value in the foreach will be added to all the values as tooltip.
If u consider the above codes, both are in same format and 1 is working and the another is not working. Please correct me.

li.Attributes["title"] = li.Text; again v need to bind it?

The above solution could not reflect the ddl.Items right?
Do you want me to bind the values again?

Is this issue fixed? and you can validate the page inside the compareDate function. Even if you return true the Page_ClientValidate();will not let u to perform the postback until/unless the page.isvalid becomes true.

use :
function(){
$('#txtstartdate_CalendarExtender').attr('disabled',true);
}
Else frame it using a function name.Include jquery plugin before doing this.
