You can try using a loading panel and hide it once the page completely loaded including header and footer as well, means you can hide it just after loading the header and footer html.

it is difficult to achieve the way you want to get it done, because as told by "F-ES Sitecore" it is against the usual flow how asp.net works...
also there is not confirmation message can be done directly in asp.net,a s it does not support the same, rather you can try some third party or do the operation using ajax.

r u asking about ClientIDMode property of the control ?
If yes, the concept behind it is
when the respective html page is being rendered for any aspx page the asp.net controls also get rendered to html elements whose id gets generated randomly to a unpredictable value. Using this property setting to static, it maintains the same id what we have given to the asp.net control only.
Hope this makes sense.

Basically what you can do is pass the role id and fetch the menu details from the database as per the roleid only.
RoleID should be maintained in DB with any relation to the menu data table. While fetching we will pass the roleid from frontend and fetch the menu data for the role only.

You can use hexa code for this purpose, for olive green it is "#556B2F". So you can write like below:-
document.getElementById('lowersection').style.backgroundColor = '#556B2F';
You can get all color hexa codes from this reference site:

Can you please try simply setting backgroundColor to a string like "red"/"green" rather than like rgba('41,171,235,0.25') as i mentioned in my answer?
Also the case you have to maintain as camel case for property like
'backgroundColor' not 'backgroundcolor' c should be in capital letter.

because your question rather than clearing doubts it is creating somany questions in our mind, so it is difficult to answer. Because there might be many generic cause for which you are anot able to get this working.
From your explanation and the code what understood is MoveNext() method returns true if the user needs to move to the next word by skipping the current in the richtext bx correct?

Just check and let us know in which line exactly are you getting the error, because this error is a generic one which specifies that you are trying to access an object which is not instantiated or is NULL.
So if you will check the line we can have a exact guess which object here is not instantiated or is null here.

Here it seems like a strongly typed model binding approach you are following, so i think you have to make it structured with the newline character before binding to the particular field.
Do the same in BL layer of your project or simply in Controller.

Sorry, I misunderstood the scenario on the issue you explained , but in this case you can go like this :-
i) Within an event handler let say 'Page_Load' event handler for the page call the WebMethod which will simply get the data from the microcontroller and return it as string. Now this string data we can set as text for the textbox in page load in code behind.
Microcontroller >> WebMethod >> Page Event to load data into textbox.
Because you can not access the server controls to set value within a static web method.

You can rather use formatter for the column you want editable and save data on blur of it. Formatter for any column can be added as follows :-
var vColNames = ['Name', 'Location'];
var vColModel = [
{ name: 'Name', index: 'Name', sortable: true, formatter: ColumnFormatter, align: "center" },
{ name: 'Location', index: 'Location', sortable: true, align: "center" },
];
function ColumnFormatter(cellvalue, options, rowObject) {
return "<input id='inptSave_" + rowObject.AwaitingExitID + "' name='chkPlanAdminSelect' type='text' />"
}
function SaveData(sender) {
alert(sender.value);
// Save your data here
}

Rather than calling this operation to be called repeatedly for each selected value just make all the selected values concatenated into single string and make a single call to database with that string parameter.
Then to get values separating and fetching the result by those parameter will be done by stored procedure.

You can do like
|~|Customer1|#|StartDate1|#|EndDate1|~|Customer2|#|StartDate2|#|EndDate2|~|
and in procedure you can split it by '|~|' and '|#|' strings to get your desired values to use for filtering data.
Here you can see two sets of data can be sent in one go.

Yes, Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter is right...
The main issue will be, even if user closes the browser the session will be out after the time expired only not immediately on browser close.
For example let say session timeout is set to 10 mins. Now you logged into an application and closed the browser still the session will be there for 10 mins, within which if you again try to open the application same page you will be able to view it. So we need to expire the session on the browser close event itself.
There are two ways to do it like 'onbeforeclose' of current window or 'onunload' of the body.
Just wondering which one and why should be better among these two :-(

Also the forum post you given the link is for time-out of session explained. But the main issue is even if user closes the browser the session will be out after the time expired only not immediately on browser close.
For example let say session timeout is set to 10 mins. Now you logged into an application and closed the browser still the session will be there for 10 mins, within which if you again try to open the application same page you will be able to view it. So we need to expire the session on the browser close event itself.
There are two ways to do it like 'onbeforeclose' of current window or 'onunload' of the body.

onbeforeunload is more efficient because it does not run in competition with the actual closing of the window and is triggered before onunload.
Please see this :-
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6895564/difference-between-onbeforeunload-and-onunload
Even handling both is a better choice it seems as below mentioned in this post.

Yes for windows forms you have to create one centralized method which will be causing the population of the whole form(or should call all other methods causing the population of form data).
This method should be called on the combobox click event handler.

First of all i will suggest to put an alert to the method and check if it is called correctly means once or not then we can check for the content it seems the content is being added twice to the 'strContent' variable.
Rather you can use 'jquery.PrintArea.js'to print a particular container HTML element's all content.

Please keep in mind that if you are calling the method in the child page load event handler it will first call the method then will hit the page load event of master page again. So if you are expecting something in master load event handler it will not work for you before the method call.
Here i have tested your code with sample data and it works fine for me when i am callign the master method from child page to bind the grid in master page. Please check with this code first and let me know if it works for you or not :
public void Bind_Master_ProductsGrid()
{
if (!dt.Columns.Contains("ProductName"))
dt.Columns.Add("ProductName");
if (!dt.Columns.Contains("UnitPrices"))
dt.Columns.Add("UnitPrices");
DataRow dr1 = dt.NewRow();
dr1["ProductName"] = "Product1";
dr1["UnitPrice"] = "10.00";
dt.Rows.Add(dr1);
DataRow dr2 = dt.NewRow();
dr2["ProductName"] = "Product2";
dr2["UnitPrice"] = "20.00";
dt.Rows.Add(dr2);
Gridview1.DataSource = dt;
Gridview1.DataBind();

Hi Bhagyashree,
Thanks for your response to my comment.
I think there is a confusion, actually i wanted to tell you regarding the jQuery .css() method not about css file which we use to assign styles to our page elements.
For this you have to include the jQuery file into your project and to add a reference to that file. Then using this method you can assign different classes to your div element by checking the current browser. Please have a look to the example i have posted as answer.

You can use '$.each' of jQuery to iterate through all the rows fetched from database.

In general it should be
i) Define a 'Event' setting where you are defining the window.
ii) On page load check if the 'Model.CloseWindow == true' then close the window.
ii) OnClose call a function which will take care of refreshing the parent page.

correct, you should use some existing asp.net data controls rather than doing this.
Also it is better practice to get data in a chunk rather than getting row by row using datareader. Just get the data and have it in DataSet then bind the data control with the data retrieved. Only refresh data when any update or delete is happening.
Please let me know if this helps.

I appreciate using the URI class but, i don't think we can get or remove the '/Asp' section from the URL just using this class. Any how we have use string operation. URI class can be used to get the whole URL or the section of the URL.
But we are not sure that the section '/Asp' is fixed here which needs to be removed but, it can be any folder name so string operation will be mandatory. We can only user URI class to get the URL or the domain or the rest part apart from domain.

There is another method in asp.net named as 'TryParse' which will be helpfull to check whether anything can be parsed to desired type or not first, you can use it. If it can be then parse or else not.
