Yeah that makes sense! Thanks for explaining it and not being rough about it!
And thanks for the link, very helpful! :D

That look's alot better than mine already!
To be more specific what people said was..
" - You should use a reusable 'void', class, helper or other some sh*t for your folder stuff: The code is a C&P and only change the file extension, so you basically have 20 lines for txt files, the 'same' 20 lines for exe files, other 'same' 20 lines for jpg, same for rars,... "
Do you see this as an issue? Should I do what he says or is there no need to?

Yeah I will lower down the ammount of comments thanks!
Also.. People found it funny that I basically copy pasted the first extension region I made and used it as a template, they said that I should of made it more simple, shortened it down, I dont think in that good of a developer yet to find out which is the most "Efficient" way of creating a application by using the smallest ammount of code. I didnt mind because I got the application to do what it was supposed to do and I really wouldnt mind how to make it look more "Professional" in a way where the code was a bit more advanced by shortening it down. Not sure how to but I'd love to learn!

Lets say i was going to look for a job as a developer in the .NET framework, what would be a higher chance of seeing in the workplace, Winform or WPF? Also thanks for the great pointers!

I see what you mean! And that sounds great to be honest.
Quick question.. I just got told that I should drop WinForms because its dead and outdated and move on to WPF.. The thing is that I've been learning C# for about 6 months now and it just feels like I've learned it for no other reason than to be told that I need to drop it and learn something new. I would need an honest opinion about this, do i drop WinForms and start with WPF?

I gave you 5 stars because yes, not understanding the code makes it really hard to understand what to covnert etc, I can see the logic behind the code but yeah you had some good points.. And why I would like to convert it is because I have my voice recognition application made in a WinForm and I would like to add the light switch functions to it. But I guess thats not going to happend, in most likley going to drop this project now and maybe look at some other lightbulbs that has a better documentaion when it comes to C#, or well.. something that is more broad.
Thanks for the answer!

Im assuming you are talking about
private void Client_DeviceDiscovered(object sender, LifxNet.LifxClient.DeviceDiscoveryEventArgs e)
{
var _ = Dispatcher.RunAsync(Windows.UI.Core.CoreDispatcherPriority.Normal, () =>
{
var bulb = e.Device as LifxNet.LightBulb;
if (!bulbs.Contains(bulb))
bulbs.Add(bulb);
});
}

Thank you for the quick answer! I really appriciate it like really!
Here is the thing..
I found this in the code and it is locating the bulbs
ObservableCollection<LifxNet.LightBulb> bulbs = new ObservableCollection<LifxNet.LightBulb>();
LifxNet.LifxClient client = null;
Now I added that and the needed references but what do I do now? Do I add the "bulbs" to a listbox?

Very informitive answer but I went with my own method.. It might not be the best but it works and I'm not having any issues with it what so ever.. This is what I did..
I create this outside of my function, in the class space.
and then this in my tick event..
if(blink == 1){
blink = 2;
label1.text = textbox1.Text;
} else {
blink = 1;
label1.text = textbox2.Text;
}

Would you mind explaining the second solution a bit more? I wanted to accomplish something like that in the beginning but since I've never used a mthod like that it was kinda hard to explain.
So I start of by creating a variable that will hold the value of the current clipboard text, then what?
BladeLogan
19-Jun-16 1:59am

And dont get me wrong, the other solution with the variable sounds amazing, simple and yet very good, the thing is I wouldnt know where to go after createing the variable that would store the value.

I never stated that mine was better, I simply didnt think that putting that much work into somthing simple would be benefitial in the future, Im sure its great but since I dont understand how p/invoke works it would take me alot longer to create this simple project. Wouldnt you agree?
BladeLogan
19-Jun-16 1:26am
View
I would have to invoke and lots of other stuff.. I went with this method..
private void clipboardUpdater_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
if (!richTextBox1.Text.Contains(Clipboard.GetText()))
{
richTextBox1.Text += "\n" + Clipboard.GetText();
}
}
Much easier

Kinda.. One of them was to create a int and hold it and use it later
const int min = 60000; more than that I didnt really understand thats why I went with the other method.
Also with the method im using right now, it wont let me kill 2 processes at the same time, they interfear somehow, but if you would like to explain your methods a bit more I would love to read it and maybe try them out and see what works for the better because this is the general thought of the application.
Imagine you have an application with 4 text boxes and 3 buttons
Like this
[Button1][Textbox1] [Textbox2]
[Button2][Textbox3] [Textbox4]
[Button3]
When user presses button1 it opens a filedialog and lets the user select a program (the user is me)
when the user presses okay or select it closes the filedialog and enters the file url into textbox1
the user can input a value on textbox 2 to let the application know how long the file from the file url should be open.
when the user presses the button 3 it starts the file in the file url and waits the ammount of time that the user put in to textbox 2 and then closes the software
same logic applies to [Button2][Textbox3] [Textbox4]
What would be a better approach because mine is kinda working now, its messing up with the [Button2][Textbox3] [Textbox4] but yeah, if you have any better idea I would love to hear it

What worked was this
Thread.Sleep(TimeSpan.FromMinutes(timeOne));
I converted the users input into minutes instead of milliseconds with the use of TimeSpan.FromMinutes

Is there anyway to bypass that? What would the correct term be for getting passeds something like that so I can read up about it!
Also, it does work now but I need to make it loop through because it only detects if its the first one, if the user were to input another line maybe line 4 it wouldnt recognize it because its not looping through..
This is what my loop looks like right now il update the question.

Ooh! I wasnt refering to the "value" which in this case was shown by ".Text" sorry for my non programatical terms, but I see the difference!
Also, as long as its ".Texr" it can read anything right ? even special characters like "?" and "@" right? Since Int can only store numbers and string can only store characters like "a,b,c" and text can store anything from "a - 9 - @" right?

IList<iwebelement> movies = getTopFive.FindElements(By.CssSelector("[itemprop='url']"));
for (int i = 0 ; i < 20 ; ++i)
{
activeTextBox.Text = movies[i].Text;
}
Im having a hard time understainding how to use the "FindElements(By.CssSelector("[itemprop='url']"));" How would I know that itemprop='url is a CssSelector for example, same goes for By.Id or By.TagName

Sorry for being so unclear sir.
1. Do I need to use Bunifu.NET to create a flat UI design such as being showed in the video posted in the question.
2. I feel like using a WPF application instead of a Windows Form Application would be alot of time waste when creating the same software but you can get to the design part much easier and faster, i.e
Lets say I had Bunifu.NET and used the same method they used in the video to create a similar Windows Form Application, it goes alot faster then creating everything with xml in the WPF.
So my question is.
Could I create the same type of design (The Flat UI) looking design without going through the hassle of using xml and WPF (Its really not that im trying to weasle my way through extra work its just that I perfer Windows Form Application) even though its lacking the UI design part which WPF provides.
And for the third question, If you can create the same looking design the (Flat Ui) look, is there any other (Free) extensions I ould use (IfI need an extention that is)
I didnt know it was considered spam, I would be glad to close this question once I get an answer.

Once again very inspiring! And I totally agree with what you are saying, and I do know that this is not an easy field, I guess it could be easier if I took more stepps into it instead of sitting around and thinking how I can tackle the fact that I dont feel like C# will get me anywhere, I am currently freelancing with Design & some C# projects but it doesnt seem like alot of people are in need of C#, might just me who feel like that. And Im not going to recreate facebook, that would be too hard and too long of a journey, I simply want to be able to create multi cross platform apps, For both the PC (Windows obv.) and for Android, and then maybe dive into iOS, but if I just sit around and try to tackle the fact that I cant get over C# instead of doing something productive I am not going to get anywhere, So im pretty sure I will have to take this on me and actually move on from here. Thank you for being patient & I am not really good with explaining myself because I can see it so very clear in my head but when it comes to putting it to words its a bit harder.
Yes, All the *.exe files
at the moment I am working with this code
OpenFileDialog ofd = new OpenFileDialog();
ofd.InitialDirectory = @"c:";
if (ofd.ShowDialog() == true)
ofd.Filter = "*.exe";
Its far away from being complete & it is not even the "purpose" I want to use for this type of Application I want it to display a box with a list of all the (*.exe) files installed on the pc for exaple.
When you get prompted on how to open a new file for example a .vbs file. It always gives you the option to choose from a list & then you get to choose which one you would like to use.
I would love to be avalible to activate that same list type from my software.
Or this is even a better example. (If you have ever used cheat engine.)
http://imgur.com/Uv4isWE
When you press the computer icon at the top left corner of the software (Cheat Engine) it prompts you with that list type (All the exe's installed or running on your machine)
I am trying to recreate something similar with my software, The only thing is I think im headed the wrong direction I am kinda new to that "field" in programming. I spend most of my time making SoundBoards, NotePads with databases etc.

I am teribly sorry about how I asked the question, maybe I should of put it like this instead.
When creating my WPF Application* (Not form, I've been up for 28 hours now and things are getting confusing (I will sleep dont worry I'l get to that later today) When Creating a WPF Application that can locate executables by pressing a button for example " http://imgur.com/D6ecP75 "
The issue I am having at the moment is use the code to find all exes recursively in a directory which I can do with "DirectoryInfo" Class and later on
foreach ( var exeFile in exeFiles )
{
Console.WriteLine( exeFile );
}
All of that is not rellevant thats why I didnt want to bring it up in the first place & have this very long conversation about my code. I simply needed guidence from someone who has made something similar to this & could give me some pointers to make it as "efficient" as possible.
I hope im making any sence, English is not my naitive tounge.

Thank you sir, I will keep that in mind, there was so much more to making a webBrowser then I thought, & One thing I've noticed is that it was running on the IE 7 engine wich is generally a bad idea because it is as you said IE, But yeah I will scrap that project, use whaat I've learned to far to create a new one with my "own" engine, thank you.

What do you mean by "But you can move to WPF for that matter."
Would I just move the whole project into a WPF format? & Would that give me the option to change the titlebar easier?

Ooh okay! I am using Form2.TopLevel = true; at the moment, but if I want a child item lets say I have 3 stuff in the MenuStrip
File | Options | About
Exit | Themes
Lets say I want to make themes clickable with another form, THEN I use Form2.TopLevel = false; right?
otherwise if its not the child item, if it is the parent I would use
Form2.TopLevel = true; am I correct?
By the way, thank you for explaining!

Oh okay! That makes sence! What about the nForm, WHy are we calling it (nForm) (Wich I assume is short for newForm) why not Form2 wich is the name of my other form that I wanted to make pop up, is it just beacse that name is already used by something else? I hope I'm making any sence :p

That just made it so as soon as I start the app it starts counting down immediately. I want it to start counting down as soon as I press start

Turns out it only worked because the button was selected while the software was started. Back to square one.
