Googled "sql injection" and shocked! I 've never been aware of sql inject attack! Thanks for warning me! I tried getting the expression rs.getRow() right after the executeQuery(sql) statement and got the value 0. Is there anything wrong with my functiong getConn()?

I tried PreparedStatement way, but got the same effect - no exceptions and no result row neither.

What I'm trying to do is to show 2 different tooltips at 2 different time. The first tooltip is shown when the mouse is hovering over the textbox (default tooltip can do that), while the second one is shown to warn the user when he clicks the "submit" button and text of the textbox is not suitable.

@U. G. Leander just solved my question! It's done if I set the HorizontalAlignment and VerticalAlignment properties to be Stretch.

It seems that even I put my mouse inside the container control ( e.g. Border, Grid and so on) but over a blank area, WPF doesn't consider the mouse is hovering over the container.

I've tried the trigger way, it's the same effect as I implement the Mouse_Enter & Mouse_Leave events. Namely, when I put the mouse over the Border or its sub-controls, the BorderBrush property changes ( e.g. blue). But when I put the mouse over the blank area ( still inside the Border), the BorderBrush property becomes transparent again. It seems that the Trigger and Mouse events both don't work well for a container ( Border, Grid and so on).

The link you gave me was about getting the coordinates of a WPF window from a monitor, that was not my point. And I tried your second way, it had the same effect when I merely implemented the UserControl_MouseEntered. I'm thinking of giving up implementing this Border thing.
Again, thank you so much for your efforts explaining and searching, hope you have a good day:)

Thanks for your brilliant idea, but it seems that my usercontrol (derived from "UserControl") doesn't have the definitions of "RectangleToScreen" and "ClientRectangle":(
Is there any way I can fix this?
