let me tell whole story, that will make it clear, as i said i am working on a point of sale system, i purchased a product, quantity say 5 cartons, yesterday on no discount but today, there is offer of discount say 50 per carton and i again purchased 10 cartons. a customer came and he suppose need 7 cartons, then i will give him what came first, so 5 cartons from yesterday's and 2 from today's. how will i calculate the profit here?
