I can't use 'Resources.myfile' in my project directly since it can/cannot be added to the .resx file. That's why I need an alternate way where I can use my resource file name as a string representation. Is there any way to do so?

Actually the PopUp is Showing but just under the Main Form. Exactly want to load the ChildForm Foreground to the ParentForm.

Actually i need a shortcut of test2.exe on desktop too, that's why i added test2.exe as a Resource on Project test1. So using a simple Process.Start mightn't help.

No, The task is not in a folder.
I actually need to run the task via Task object itself.
also want to check the Task status too like:
=> if (task.State.Equals("Running"))
How can i check that if i use Process.Start()??

Ok Thank you.
But I still having confusions, since my requirement is in such a way. So if not bothering please assist me with a solution.
Like
a) can I able to create a Task Scheduler inside the Service OnStart() with the external .exe file.
or
b) can I create a Task Scheduler with the external .exe file separately and could invoke inside the Service OnStart().

If both ways are not possible how can I run those .exe file as a Service which should be restart on a daily basis also.

Please help...

Yes it's having a UI.
But I don't have any idea on task scheduler so far.

Normally this external .exe file i use to Install using NSSM service.I am trying to do that via Windows Service by expecting the working as same.

i added a xml file as a resource
i can read the value of an element from that file
but i am not able to update that file.Is there any way todo that?

My xml file is: Resources.BookXML

<book><mybook><price>100</price></mybook></book>

For saving i tried:
XDocument xml = XDocument.Parse(Resources.BookXML, LoadOptions.PreserveWhitespace);
xml.Root.Element("myBook").Element("Price").Value = "200";
xml.save(Resources.BookXML);

But didn't work :(

If i added a zip file as a resource
how can i extract them to a local folder?
Tried:
ZipFile.ExtractToDirectory(Resource.zipFile, targetPath);
But not working.
