Hi SA,
Thanks for looking into the issue.
Actually my requirement little complex and difficult to explain why I am using ActiveX
but anyway I found the solution of the problem. Actually my issue was how to use Activex without Windows application. And by writing below line it works for me
System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run();
in Way#2 I have modified code like below and it works fine
Thread t = new Thread((ThreadStart)
delegate
{
StartTCPCommunication();
System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run();
});
t.SetApartmentState(ApartmentState.STA);
t.Start();
Thanks again for looking into this.

Thanks for providing useful link.
I tried that link and able to sign the .exe and msi file. I can check the files proprties and see the digital signature tab there. Now just want to clear one thing is that this will not work for my self signed certificate, right?
I am doing all testing in my local only with the my own test certificate. And in IIS created one default website and put the .msi file there. All is in my local so it should display valid publisher but it still not display it. so I think it may be not working for test certificate but it should work with my real certificate.
Thanks,

Thanks for quick response.
Actually we are going to purchase the code sign certificate. but my question is how to attached it with the MSI file. I know using signcode.exe we can attach the digital certificate to our .exe file. but the main problem we have is we will distribute the .exe to internet and .msi file will be on our server. if both are not same place then that unknown publisher message not comes, it only comes when we run the .msi from internet.

Concept of binary file is one of the alternative. I can use it, I can create separate binary file for each table data.
can you please provide some more detail how to use binary file ?

so it will not create major problem even if I use GC.Collect or not, as memory reclaim is not handle by code.
Thanks for your support.

I have still one thing that confusing me is that if it is not require any disposing mechanism for WPF window and when we close window it will release the memory. but in my application why memory going increase in task manager when I just open and close popup window (in this popup window I am loading usercontrol) repeatably, so when ever I do that open-close popup window operation some memory keep allocated.
for example : when first time open : 60000 KB
after open - close window 10 time : around 65000 KB
again after open-close windwo 10 time : around 68000 KB
so this way it increase little memory in task manager. so can you please help me on this what exactly casuing the issue.
I can give some code snippet if you require it how I did code.
I will appreciate if you give me hint to sort out this issue.
Thanks,

so you mean we no need to use disposing mechanism for the WPF window? Will it release automatically resource when close the window?
and what you mean by last sentence "use only garbage collection. by never using GC class".
can you please give idea by which way should use garbage collection then ?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for excellent explanation and helpful links.
Yes you are correct I am not sure my code will leak memory or not because task manager does not make much difference.
I just want to add few thing related to my question is that, I also implment the IDisposable interface like below
public class PopupWindow : Window, INotifyPropertyChanged, IDisposable // This is custom popup window I have created.
In this class in the Dispose method have following code.
public void Dispose()
{
this.Dispose(true);
GC.SuppressFinalize(this);
}
so I think I not need to worry about the memory leak in this case right? it will automatically release memory as soon as this Dispose method call, right ?
Thanks,

Thanks for valuable comment.I will give 5 start for this comment because it us useful to me.
but I am thinking If database size not increase more then 10 GB then can I use the local DB (”Denali”)?
IF we use localdb as database file then In the localDB can we prevent the database file by some password to connect it so to local db we can connect only through application not from external appliation.
so does this make sense what I am thinking?
Thanks,

Thanks Zoltan for taking time.
one more thing want to add the database will be large so I can't use the SQL CE and other database tool like Access which provide the database file. On the database very complex logic written in it is so storeprocedure is the best way to do this. That's why I have choose SQL Server database tool.
Is compact edition provide large data management ?

Thanks for you quick reply. Yes I have this idea in my mind to secure the storeprocedure this way. but I have doubt to secure other objects like table and functions.

Link that you provided is defiantly very useful. but in that I can't find how to check the memory leak in my application.
Is there any way by which I can check memory leak in my application?

Hi Shubham,
Thanks for quick response.
Yes I go through both the links, but still not getting exact difference or which one is better in my case to use where we require Client (WPF) - Server (Window Service runs 24x7) architecture.
Can you please give you comment on this.
Thanks in advance.
