You can code bluetooth controls/manipulations, but it would be tedious. Try using 3rd party libraries like InTheHand dlls.

I left it as is. I really haven't figured it out why it works like that. I haven't posted my code since there will be lot. Anyways, thanks to all who viewed.

I've read about that...but their was a tutorial in CodeIgniter and you can really send an email via gmail. But I am using the other method (xp_smtp...) (sad to say, I can't use the CodeIgniter tutorial for some reason).....anyways, I'll soon figure it out. thanks for your answers.

@Marc A. Brown --> I already tried it. And using
xp_smtp_sendmail
, you just fill out those info above. No ports to configure (you use it with MS SQL Server and some sort of automatic config for the port happens -- I don't remember configuring port when I used a private mail domain). Thanks for the answer. I'll try further research.

@SAKryukov --> I already did googled. I actually found
smtp.gmail.com
. But I was not able to send the mail when in fact it worked in a private domain, so I asked here. And by the way, you should give me at least a simple solution and not a question. Don't you think? You just don't do that as if you own codeproject. I am sorry but sounds like negative to me. You can skip and choose not to answer my question.

I'll just post this link I've found. Others might want to see it as well. I'll still need to try it with the command line above. <link>http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2571658/how-to-schedule-emails-to-send-out</link>

I'm doing the same project as yours. What I have right now is just sending texts. I'm still trying to figure out how for images (specifically jpeg). If you ever got the solution, please share it with me. So will I on you if I get it first. Thanks.

Thank you for all the answers and support. I already found a way (but not that ideal). I used SendMessage() on a dummy button (hidden) to do the trick of selecting the comboBox index.

Sorry, but your solution doesn't work. I already explicitly stated that
comboBox.SelectedIndex = index
won't work which is literally the same as yours.

To clarify, detours has also DllMain, specifically, detoured.cpp. I also got my own DllMain which is in SampleDLL.cpp

Hmm...asking you to tell me how to retrieve the texts is too much...All I actually need to know is how the texts are printed on the window...thats it. I will be using C++. Thanks...:)

Hi guys, thanks for the info. I actually am not sure if the window really is using CDC to print the texts, just my suspicion. I'm actually working on making a "Find/Search Tool" for this log viewer application: (BareTail.exe). To make it clear, can you help me figure out how the texts are displayed? Here's the link: ( http://www.baremetalsoft.com/baretail/ )...there's a free version. Anyhelp on determining how to retrieve the texts would be gladly appreciated, Thanks.

I followed your suggestion, sending messages. I even tried to get its runtime class and found out that its still just derived from CWnd. But I really can't set or get window text even if I use SendMessage. The application I'm talking about is BareTail Log Viewer. Anyways, how do you know if its an ActiveX control/not?

Its hooking. And Yes, the purpose is to get notifications/intercept messages on some process. I don't get "not to generate it". But it's possible that you do more than getting messages like you can pass your own message to that hooked application (sending & receiving between processes).....

I'm constrained not to use threads/loops.
I am doing a hooking. I actually can GET the data from that edit box using [SendMessage(...)] but I can't use SetWindowText on my application because WindowProc won't allow me, it cause stack overflow/access denial. It won't allow me because I think its manually created and not through drag & drop. Anyway, I know its hard to figure things out just through texts. Thanks.
