Hi Karwavivek,
yes i want to generate it in Windows Form..I have started working around using the DataGrid but it looks cluttered:
1)I don't know how to name the rowheaders(it has couple of rows).
2)How to change the rowheadercolor.
3)Each column have "null" as default value.
It will be helpfull if you can advice me on this, you have any other better ideas
Thanks :)

yes, i admit that..i'm sorry that i raise my tone...
BUT I really don't understand what do you mean by "You see it is just not as simple as saying "I would like to create a table(row, columns) to show some information"

Mydll:
it has MydllDlg.cpp. This will have a dialoguebox with some controls.Not more.
I want the MyAppDlg::OnBnClickedBtnCrInv() to open the dialoguebox in the dll.

is this mean that I no need to create an instance of the dll class?straight calling the dll's function will be fine?

thanks Hans,
Your link was a good one! I'm using Implicit linking.
I'm able to compile the linked App. Perfect!
Now, I need to create an object/instance of the dll in the App class.
What i did:
//header
#include mydll.h //Compile Perfectly!
...
void CMyAppDlg::OnBnClickedBtnCrInv()
{
// TODO: Add your control notification handler code here
Mydll test; //Compile error
}
I'm getting error:
error C2065: 'Mydll' : undeclared identifier
syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'test'
error C2065: 'test' : undeclared identifier
If i'm not mistaken the way i create the instance is wrong.
May I have your advice on this?

What I know is something like editable time using keyboard chars.

yeah, that is correct. but can I edit the time on keyboard char press?
I guess DateTimePicker only works for arrows keystroke.
What I want is, something like editable time using keyboard chars.
Thanks.

Hi SA,
Thanks for your reply.
Well...
"So, you create some files and put them in some resource directory within your project"
What files i need to create(is it image files) and to which resources directory i need to it in?i dont have any resource folder now.

thanks Amit,
Your point 1 & 3 looks good, but..
2) I tried to do using ListBox, but it isn't very intuitive because it contains objects instead of something like ListItem and just able to add the text that will be shown on the list. The value, i'm not able bind to the listbox.
I guess you were mentioning this,
listbox.DisplayMember = "";
listbox.ValueMember = "";
but this will set the value for the whole listbox itself not a particular item in the listbox.
More good ideas from experts like you really apppriciated :)

thanks Yusuf,
2)this means that each time I search for ID, need to connect to db? is it possible to copy the DB to memory and do all the searching there?
3) I search the db for an ID and load the information on that ID to a windows Form. Now i change the address for that ID, and how do i update this change to the Db?this is what i mean.

Hi DaveAuld, i'm really looking forward to know how you were able to use the '0-9' keys in DateTimePicker. D0 you able to change the time values using the '0-9' keys? Can you share with me your knowledge on this?
