i m not using the output in the front end. it is completely back end related.

cant do this. my sp returns 10 columns and its been used at several places. i store the output of this sp by making a temp table and then insert the outout of this sp into that table. the problem is everytime i increase the number of columns returned by the sp, i have to make changes at all other places where this sp is referred

this does not return the parameter values that were passed while executing the sp .... it just returns the create sp statement

both the things do not work.... TryParse returns false and Parse is again giving the same error
The problem is specifically occuring when my date is greater than 12th of the month

very nice article ...thnx bro But the example Example 3.1 - Using IN Operator missed out something I guess.. SET @EmpID = '1001,1003' should be used as SET @EmpID = '''1001'',''1003''' Correct me If I am wrong coz with the original statemnt it gives an error 'Invalid Column Name'

Thnx....that worked and the sp has compiled now.
But still it does not execute.
I am getting the below error while executing:
