i have changed updated the "startListner()" the function with Task.factory because of unlimited requests like 1000 at a time are getting to this application in order to restrict this insted of parameterisedthread i have update with TASK.Factory.Startnew() because of inbuilt thread POOl but this can able to handle only 30 tasks at a time .. what to do..

hi thanks for the response.. not only the sql server but also all the windows server 2003 ports are blocking internet is not working 3party API's are not pinging can you suggest the solution

By using several tools we have concluded the issue is memory management in their IIS. May be that is the issue we have recommended to install hotfix for this they are monitoring the transactions and will send the feedback... we are waiting ..

as mentioned in the question opening a unique for a thread and i am accessing the database 5 times (select,insert,updates) and i will close the connection at the end of all these transactions ... so as u mentioned in the solution if i opened and closed the connections i have to open 5 times and close 5 times for every request... these many switching will create any problem...?

i have assigned 200 seconds in the connection string itself , Is there any problem with these SLEEPING connections.

windows application compiled on 32 bit is working in 64 bit os fine but when it comes to windows service it is not working any reason??

when i tried with mainDiv insted of wrapperDiv ie $("#mainDiv").append(msg.d) it is working fine
only the thing is wrapperDiv is a server side controll even though i tried with $('#' + '<%= wrapperDiv.ClientID %>').html(msg.d); i am getting null reference.... now i have added one more div which is not a serverside controll it is working fine ..

i have executed the code in fire bug
no errors..
no warnings..
and return correct message from the server
but in ALL->post ->There are no child objects

my application is a windows server application, runs on HTTP LISTNERS. In the peak time when the number of requests increased the application throws exception "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request".
There is no limitations in the application it can accept any number of requests pls tell me why it happens
