Oh so you are getting information from different items so you use dr(0) for the first colum, dr(1) for the second colum, and so on. So say you Username is the first colum then you use dr(0), if it is in the second colum then it would be dr(1)

But the static value may change between users.

That very well be true but with different users and different databases their are different text values so you must calculate the new index.

Yes but the text is not always the same so you need to find the index.

If you want to check if the email is correct then just create a tmp string and if it equals to the mbody then it is correct else don't do it.

What is your error? Also try it with a combo box because that is what the original code is for also make sure you change the db_con, query1, and everything that has tables. Also i know it works because it is used in my program.

You are absolutely right. In most of my programming years I have used basic for almost 60% of my programs. We have converted the code into vb.net. Also this is just a sample code why would I release the real code to something that we are making money from. :P

You need a web host. And you need to be able to change your permissions in the public folder to who can upload, download, and edit in that folder. I suggest you stay with ftp because if you change permissions in the public folder your are 100% going to get hacked.

I think its because a background worker does not loop. You need to create a loop around the whole background worker or just use a timer.
