Hey you can try to create a clear cache actionfilter and then decorate the specified Action(the one that adds item to the list) in the controller with the action name and once done you can fill the list again to be cached the actionfilter would be something like given below.

can you please specify how in the hell you are gonna do it with two abstract method,as far as I know you can inherit only a single class,just t0o show you are something great commenting on others,it shows even you dont have any idea.

Hey this seems to be a very simple problem there seems to be a column of int datatype in your sql table and you are passing the string value to it,just convert that string e.g convert.toint32(Txt2.Text).

Regarding the warning I think it comes up for .net 4 and further version,for that you can have a go for the linq to xml that should help you or give a try by using XmlDocument class instead of XmlDataDocument.
For null values have a quickwatch for the values of the nodeListItems check whether it has value if it is not null then you can access the values in the foreach loop that I have specified in the code.
