can you give some code which will help us understanding the issue. Also I would suggest you to try Jquery function AutoComplete if possible, it is fast and easy to manage.

First of all correct the code at string query="SELECT * FROM ['ISB VAS Nodes$'] WHERE Model='"+DropDownList1.Text+"'"; as string query="SELECT * FROM ['ISB VAS Nodes$'] WHERE Model='"+ a +"'"; a is variable where you collect the dropdown value. Let us know if that is also not working.

Even before its now working, I wonder why you are not getting "Invalid column name 'status'" error. Where you have declared or selected that? Please try executing it again. you will get answer yourself. And how we will know what is status and what value it holds? Please improve the question.

I think you should try JQuery Slider. Get the value from slider and then assign it to font-size in body tag for the page.
check here jQuery UI slider: http://jqueryui.com/demos/slider/

Why you need C# program for that? Ofcourse every SQL server have username and password (windows or SQL). If you don't know, you should be asking to admin / authority.

1. You want total to be 100. So why you are checking sum !=100. You should be always checking sum <100.
2. Have you tried using JavaScript or Jquery as you are using ASP.NET. That's better approach for doing all validation before calling save method.
3. Using same javascript function you can manage visiblity of textboxes.
Let us know if you stuck trying out Javascript or jquery.

I do.. But i would suggest you to go on MSDN and get step by step info about webparts. There you will get sample , code and screenshots as well... It will be lengthy.. but as a student it should be ok for you..

A wild guess.. Check the web.config file for something like "sessionstate mode="InProc" cookieless="UseUri". If you find this, that means the website is configured not to share the same session in two tab in same browser (like IE8). In this case, you will see such junk ids attached in the URL... Again.. this is just a guess...

check the server name in your connection string. Either connection string contains server name different than it should be (may be typo) or server is not running (check sqlserver processes).
If everything looks good, verify if sql server allows remote connection. Try this link.. may help

You can do it multiple way. Like maintaining id in code side and passing it with every proc call. But if you are using SQLserver 2008, try using table value type to push whole list as param and insert into one go with one id. You need to learn more about how to use table value type, but i think its worthy.

can you help us understanding why you need empty record in table? I believe you are keeping this empty record to avoid null error. If so you can handle null issue properly and delete all records. However if you still want to have empty record then you should write condition in delete commandstring something like "Delete from StudentDetails where Student_code<>'' and Student_desc <> '' and Student_telno<>''
Hope this helps

try something like this
DataRow dr = (DataRow)e.Row.DataItem;
if (dr["language"].ToString() == "H")
e.Row.CssClass = "NewFont1";
else
e.Row.CssClass = "FontEnglish";
PrashantSonewane

DataTable cab = (DataTable)Session["tab"];
for (int i = 0; i < cab.Rows.Count; i++)
{
if (cab.Rows[i]["language"].ToString() == "H")
e.Row.CssClass = "NewFont1";
else
e.Row.CssClass = "FontEnglish";
}
You have to work on this part. You are looping through datatable's rows and expect gridview row css change. Where you are checking the datatable's rowindex is matching with current gridview row index? So all rows in gridview will get datatable's last row condition satisfied and hence only once css will be applied for all rows.

Is this javascript function or C# code? little confused when you said code behind. If your code is at code behind, best way is to assing string.Empty (or '' in case of javascript). And while saving you can check if textwishlistsong1.text / value == string.Empty or '' then insert or send null.

Choice would be depend on what type of data you are binding. Without looking at that, hard to make decision. Generally we should use collection if data is volatile and stored in database.
Making default is dropdownlists property and not of enum. you can use dropdownlist.items[0].selected=true property by selecting any item of choice.

Thats the implementation choice. However if collection is known and static ( we are sure that gender collection will have these static entries), should go with enum. No need to add database calls and other impplementation. Reduce db call as much as possible. Make sense?

use something like this:
string str = DataGrid1.Column(X).Value;
str.Replace("\\Library\\","");
string[] lstImage = str.Split(',');
string img1 = lstImage[0].ToString();
string img2 = lstImage[1].ToString();
string img3 = lstImage[2].ToString();
string img4 = lstImage[3].ToString();
string img5 = lstImage[4].ToString();
string img6 = lstImage[5].ToString();
However \ will give you some trouble working with in C# as it is escape char. Check on that.

How you are inserting data in other server? using linked server or connectionstring for source and destination db in windows service? If linked server, then you can use stored proc and check if data already exists. If connection string, then write stored proc in destination to check if data/record already exists and skip is yes.

Make sure you have more than 10 records while testing. :)
Try setting pagination properties in page load. However it is as good as setting at design time. Pagination will show the pages if number of records exceed than 10. I don't think you need to change the pagination property. Number of Rows you can change dynamically.

OK. I assume that you have upload and delete button in page and checkbox in repeater control in page. Whenever you upload anything, repeater gets new row. Now if you select few/one checkbox in repeater then you want to make Delete button visible. If this is correct, then write simple javascript function to turn delete button visible on or off. and call that function on onClick event of checkbox.

Its not related to Interop exel. I was check checking if your OS is server and 64 bit. If it is 64 bit, there is another folder for system files SysWOW64 unlike 32 bit. Hence you need to create Desktop folder both the places. Bit here is not related to Excel interop but with OS. Anyway yours is 32 bit. Will reply if find breakthrough or clue.
