This is kind of very demanding: not only you need a solution for a pretty big problem, but you need it short and simple. Here is a clash of your expectations and the reality. You can only expect some help if you write the solution yourself but face a problem which you report very clearly. This is a domain where CodeProject might work pretty well for you.
Also, there a number of different media format which can implement lyrics. Don't hope for a single solutuion for all of them. Which one do you want to consider?
