But when Byte Array inputs taking from .txt file, then output .PDF not generating properly.

Please Suggest me the necessary alteration to the code ByteArrayToString2b.java so that after compilation when i execute the class file, it will produce the 'HELLO WORLD .PDF file

Solution 1

A text string is not a PDF, and cannot be treated as such. A PDF file isn't a PDF file just because of its extension, it has to conform to the structure as explained here[^].

What you will need to do is install a package such as iText and use that to write the output. You can find an example at iText - Creating a PDF Document[^]

While you have opened up a PdfDocument, and created a Document, you haven't added a Paragraph to the document - write your text into the paragraph, and then add the Paragraph object to the document. I am very much thankful to you for your valuable suggestion. After observing your suggested example [https://www.tutorialspoint.com/itext/itext_adding_paragraph.htm] I altered my code, now there is no compilation error, But when I am executing the code it is generating test_out1.pdf containing with the Byte Array. As per my requirement the test_out1.pdf file containing 'Hello World' is not generating. My requirement is that the java code ByteArrayToString2b.java should generate test_out1.pdf file containing 'Hello World'. Like test_out.pdf file which I generated through the java code ByteArrayToString2a.java output file test_out.pdf which I informed you earlier.

Moreover it is observed that the statement

above statement I used both the java code ByteArrayToString2a.java and ByteArrayToString2b.java, but it is only performing in java code ByteArrayToString2a.java at the time of execution.

When you are trying something that is new to you, it is generally better to start off with small changes. What I would try, if I were you, would be just writing the string Hello World to the paragraph directly. Ignore reading the bytes for the moment. Just start small and make sure that the Pdf document generates with fixed text first.

Thanks For Your Valuable suggestion. Actually Hello World Byte Array is an example only, The original situation is that, I am getting a weekly report file from a client, they are generating the report in Byte Array, storing in to a .txt file, and sending to me. After receiving the .txt file I have to prepare the .pdf file. So to generate .pdf file from .txt which contains Byte Array, I taken Hello World Byte Array as an example. But I am un-successful when I am taking Byte Array inputs from a .txt file. Which is [ ByteArrayToString2b.java ] not generating the .pdf file.
I think I explained my problems to you, Please Help Me.
