Trying to create a permanent star rating using ajaxtoolkit, now i need the rating to stay permanent even after a postback or page refreshing. Any simple,clear ideas on doing that?

What would be "non-permanent rating"? :-)

the non-permanent would be whn u refresh the page,then the rating evaporates

Solution 1

Yes, you need to store the rating in your database, and populate the control to show it, otherwise it's just going to show the chance to rate, without any backup.
