vb.net application running slow

I had developed vb.net application. some reports displays more than 100 pages. that takes very long time to load than on my system.

I am using windows Server 2008 R2 (64 bit) and i had installed sql 2008 64bit R2 .

I am using Visual studio 2008 Sp1 as front end tool.

the same report takes half time to load from my system (xp 32bit and sql 2005 32bit).

I am using shared folder for running application.

So pls. tell me how to reduce the time.

u can get speed not based on the software but by how you maintain your working sytem. sql server 2008 r2 and visual studio 2008 will use maximum resources to work efficient. So use a system cleaner tool like "C-Cleaner" to clean your system and if it ain't works. Try to upgrade some RAM.

The server has 16 GB ram and i used c-cleaner but no improvement in system.

Sorry Jilad I really can't figure out what exactly the problem is. I hope reinstalling the apps may help. Good Luck with that.
