does anyone know the names and purposes of the files that constitute Web Service hosted on a remote server?

At first look this question makes no sense. A web service can be made of several files in several ways, there is nothing fixed, but the definition of them that you can get from the server in most cases, and that is the WSDL file.

Is the question really "Does anyone know...?"? I'm sure, yes. If fact, many know.
Names: they are all different, depending on the implementation. Purpose: to implement a particular Web Service.

I hope you enjoyed my comprehensive answer. :-)
I also hope next time you will be able to post a more informative question.
