What is "longing page"? Why do you think this page will be different in 1-tier, 2-tier, 4-tier architecture or the like? :-)

in my login page their are two field one user id and second one is password?and when these field match with db then only it will redirect to another page and all this in 3 tire plz help

Log4Net[^] is a good tool that you can use for logging in a 3-tier application.
