Getting a weekday name selecting the date

Okay I have a Dropdown which has "Daily", "Weekly" and Range and below the dropdown I have Checkbox of all the weekdays "Sunday", "Monday" and so on... when user select thee "Weekly" from the dropdown it should put a tick mark automatically on the corresponding weekday- Any suggesstion how to do it ..thank you

For that you have to use jQuery.Is it ok for you ?
