A lot of people I know would tell you that my mind cannot be any more messed up than it already is. This includes all my school and college teachers, most of my near and far relatives, classmates, colleagues, friends and CPians.

Chris,
How about an Ignore User feature? My blood pressure would go way down...
Only kidding, Chris. This was a rant more than a feature request.

I doubt it.
It would be a nice but unnecessary feature. You've gotta take the bad with the good.

Hey Chris, why not test whether email or password are blank before logging in.
I erase my cookies after each day and sometimes while logging in with great excitement I only get as far as my email and I hit enter...
It tries to log me in, but my password isn't there yet so it just blanks the two fields and I have to start over.
This may not seem like a big deal, but I figure it's easy enough to do, so why not?
Thanx!

Hello,
After you sign in for the first time, you should view your name in the "New Memebers" area on the first page, and the location too. If you want to modify your location, the first page do not "translate" the modification until a new member is added. The detailed view is correct. Maybe is a problem of refreshing, i don't know :>

There is a "Free tools" section in here isn't it?
I would propose that my system is added to that part of this forum.
Yes, I started the wrong thread here, I posted the wrong message. I posted the same one as in the "General discussion" by mistake. Here should have been a message proposing that, instead of the one that gotv posted.
Thanks for your input.

1) I run at fairly high resolution and would like to be able to see more than 50 messages at a time.
2) If you're traversing through a long discussion and eventually want to post to it, usually the original post is on the previous page. It would be cool if you could reply (easily) to the original post rather than just the current one so you wouldn't have to surf back. It would also be cool to be able to quickly move back to the first message in that thread.
Thanks Chris!

Just curious but how difficult would it be to allow the forums to only display New messages when I clicked a link or followed a URL?
With my connection speed and frequent checking of The Lounge I tend to get sick of having to reload all those messages I have already read and answered.

You can always select the top option in the 'Messages Since' pulldown. It won't keep track of individual messages but it will filter out everything posted before your last visit.

When searching CP the next and last links appear to be broken, displaying a page not found message.
I believe the error is very simple. The case of a parameter in the url appears to be the cause.
Eg:
http://www.codeproject.com/info/search.asp?target=blah+flibble&st=au&qm=all&Page=2
Should be:
http://www.codeproject.com/info/search.asp?target=blah+flibble&st=au&qm=all&page=2
Note the case of the 'page' parameter.

I thought ASP was case-insensitive
Request.QueryString("path") would be same as Request.QueryString("Path")
Or am I wrong here?
