It's a shared machine. So I don't want to leave signed in. Better sign out.
This problem occurs sometimes and not always. I wonder what's it?

It depends on the user. For first time article posters and article posters where their article repeatedly ends up with a low score then maybe the wizard should accept the article and not publish it until a moderator has approved it.
Other people post consistently good articles and they should not be penalised in such a way.

I want to ask someone about their article, how do I contact them, how do I contact anyone in CP for that matter, unless they posted an article?

It's good form to post your question in the article's forum. The author(s) will be notified by email, and other readers will see the question too and may be able to help you out.

Check the mail headers, and you'll see the originating IP address. I can assure you that it's not Chris or CP who's sending you those spam mails!

Yeah, a few hundred thousand people have Chris's regular and webmaster email IDs in their address book So if one of them gets infected, everyone starts receiving spoofed emails with poor Chris's email as the from-address.

I know its been said before (but not recently - I just checked!) but I *really* want a black copdeproject polo shirt. I'd even pay for one!
Its too late for the upcoming london meet (if its still on - I'll have to check), but having CP stuff on would be posy. But a white t shirt would make me look like a ship with full sail...
I was even tempted to get one independently made, but that felt wrong somehow...

Me too.
It would be great if such T-shirts were sold, I would definitely buy some
