Everything he posts is crap, but does anyone know if he went over to that girls house that called him up out of the blue a few weeks ago? It could explain his absence in for the last few weeks...I hope anyway! If there was ever a poster child for getting a life, he's it.

I'd be curious to find out his score on that nerd test.

There isn't a test in existance that can reach every corner of his geekdom.

Nice idea but we really need to focus on our core offerings here (But I am tempted...)

The Help!->About Us doesn't work
Hasn't for weeks.
Maybe months.
Could be longer than that, since I don't go there often, but have tried over the past couple weeks ... Thought someone might want to know ...

Try F5-ing a few times. It takes a while to load. So give it about 30-45 seconds between each Refresh. I usually get through within 3 F5s.

Can't that be fixed?
Trinity: Neo... nobody has ever done this before.

Yes, significantly. It's almost instant in the new version. It'll be out soon.

... it's sad, or I am, that I was actually 'excited' about a new version of the CP Help->About page.
I really need a life.

Oh man - the pressure to deliver... :P
(but we're excited too. It's just that we're also not sleeping at the moment in an attempt to push through the pain barrier and get a version of CodeProject out the door that looks exactly like the old version except for the "x" on the end of the URLs.)
If you're lucky we may add some new bugs. If you're lucky...

The excitment builds. It's almost like a movie trailer ... but ... not.

In the process of deleting messages, someone managed to screw up the hardware forum. It stops showing messages after just a couple of pages.
Thought: Maybe it's a hardware-related issue... (guffaw!)

Have you tried setting the "Messages Since" dropdown to something other than "Last Month?"

That was the sound of John's bitter laugh when he read your post. I mean, after making that hardware joke and all

OF COURSE NOT!
I just know something is broken on that forum, and I'm gonna find it.

How about adding a link which says "Soapbox" next to the Spam/Abuse link in the lounge. If a Certain number of people click on the link then the post could get auto moved to the soapbox.

How about a general Wrong Forum button?

Yeah, that would be a nice idea. The idea for a Soapbox button is to auto move messages based on clicks received to the SoapBox. What would the Wrong Forum button do? Delete it? Transfer it to a different forum?

Hey Brad, wont this be nice ?
"[Move-it-to-SoapBox&Throw-*him*-to-the-Lions]" button? but costs hefty to Chris. Also the campus would get a bit smelly of lion sh*t.
Press: 1500 to 2,200 messages in just 6 days? How's that possible sir?

Move-to-soapbox would move it to the soapbox, what would the "wrong forum" do? again move it to the wrong forum?

Bad idea, because it's going to be used least. We get a post like that once in 50 threads (aprox, may be). Why should we carry the option for all the other 49? Options must be generic. like throwing to the lions.
