I hate to be harsh, Gerry, but this seems a case of reaping what you sow. The discussions on you harvesting the community to recruit new disciples when you first came on the site and your constant and innappropriate references to your work soon after still linger in member's minds.
That's all bygones so please be patient. We're all still getting to know each other here.

As much as I often find myself disagreeing with The Grand Nagus I think he does have a point here and feel that the average rating should be taken into account when deciding if something should be deleted. It's happened more often in the soapbox but I've seen it abused before in fairly heated arguments where the score was sitting around 2.5 (half 1s and 5s I assume) and the post was then killed because of a few abuse clicks. Personally I think either a total disablement or a much higher count of delete votes should be needed for a post with a score above 2.

I don't think there is any one solution that will solve the problem. Perhaps it could be lengthened to more votes as you said, but abuse can be done on any system. A spammer can create another ID to vote his own spam to prevent or slow removal, even forcing by-hand removal if there is a minimum score. No matter how you set it up, it can be abused.
Off hand I would say make more votes, but not to the extent it takes a huge effort of logic. We'll just be back here again with more requests for changes Ad Infinitum. That doesn't mean it isn't worth the effort, just not a major one. Tweak it, but no more.

I would really like to see a little more "power" to the bookmarks function. I often use it to bookmark articles know I might need later or would like to read later. It would be cool if we could maybe organise our bookmarks, using tags for example and then filter using 1 or more tags.
any chance of seeing that in the future?

I think we need to make it harder to impersonate another as done here[^]. I would go as far to say we should strip ALL HTML tags from names and not allow duplicates. Losing fancy names seems a small price to pay.

Can someone tell me how I can search Public source code of all pages in a website - without having to implement anything in the source code itself.

Being a web developer I have javascript debugging switched on.
This means that for almost every action on the message boards I have to end up closing this message box!

If I use Firefox to browse CP I won't get this problem as the javascript debugger is an IE option.

Strange.
I can't see it inline in the page at all.
Searching for "SwitchMessage" only gives one result (in the onclick event) and no function definition for it

I'm getting the same error in Firefox as well.
Not that it bothers me there as I don't get the modal dialogue but just FYI.
If you have firebug installed and click anywhere on the div repeatedly you'll see the errors creeping up and up.
Opening firebug shows the same problem with "SwitchMessage not defined".

Hmm,
Just logged in from home and SwitchMessage seems to be there now.
It's inline in the page so I can't have been seeing an old version of the page or I wouldn't have been seeing any new messages.
Maybe it's been quietly fixed?
