This is by design - it's a load saving thing we'll have in place until our data layer upgrade comes online (soon)

the combination ="" gets placed within code snippets in various spots

Can you give me an example please?

It occurs in some of the for loops. Granted, they messed up on the code paste but when I was trying to get the correct code out of the page source, the ="" was sprinkled around few places making it difficult to extract the code snippet. There was one place with a >< embedded in there that did not seem to pair with any html tags but I could only check so far.

There's not a lot we can do to stop people posting messed up HTML apart from what we already do:
1. Auto HTML-encode pasted text
2. Make the HTML well-formed so it doesn't screw up everything else.
The other two options we have are:
3. Make the editor WYSIWYG so pasting works intuitively (coming soon)
4. Disable HTML completely (no thanks)

Thanks, Chris! I am waiting for this to bypass the domain policy at my company.

If you do a search in the html source for (t=""><(rounds+1)
you can find one spot that went sour.
However, it might make sense to you why thats all coming together that way. If so, I apologize. It wasn't making sense to me.

I have two current articles that I want to list to Josh and Sacha's article listing page.
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/WPFBusinessAppsPartOne.aspx[^]
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/WPFBusinessAppsPartTwo.aspx[^]
For Josh, the URL would be:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/MemberArticles.aspx?amid=247684
When I submitted the article the I inserted the entire URL.
Now when an article viewer clicks on the link in the article they are sent to:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/WPF/MemberArticles.aspx?amid=247684
Mr. Wizard is incorrectly assuming that every Code Project link will be in the /KB/Articles directory.
Should I remove these links from my articles?

I just fixed them.
Here is what I had to do.
I went back and edited the article.
Instead of putting the long http://www.codeproject.com... URL I only entered /scripts/articles/...
Entering only the shorter URL made it start working.
Can you test on your end with a test article and try both methods using the submission wizard?

If we have some option like uploding photo with message that will help full to all of us to clarify our query to others. It also makes things easily understandble .
e.g : I am getting problem with setting , some one give me the screen shots with the message will be very helpful.
This is my idea only.

Hi All/Chris,
Can anyone confirm (or better - provide a workaround)? The 'Last 10 Updates' seems to have latched on the C# Feed. Is there a way to include C++?
At this point, I've signed out and deleted cookies/history. In addition, I've removed C# from my profile in its entirety.

Hi Jeffrey Walton,
If you just click on the MFC/C++ (left hand side on the green toolbar)
you will get the last 10 updates in that category.
If you do "All Topics", this will give you Last 10 updates in All categories.
Sincerely,
Elina

That was it. For all this time, I did not know what the Green Toolbar was used for...

Chris you could change the heading text for the LATEST BEST PICKS and LAST TEN UPDATES to
VB.NET LATEST BEST PICKS
VB.NET LAST TEN UPDATES
MFC/C++ LATEST BEST PICKS
MFC/C++ LAST TEN UPDATES

I've finally taken a look at my mail server logs and figured out why I don't receive notifications of responses to my postings. The EHLO is given as cp-exchange.codeproject.com, the IP address (69.10.233.30) resolves as mail.codeproject.com.
Bamb! The first of several spam filters checks for the discrepancy and dumps it as spam.
The daily brief arrives from mail4.maillist.codeproject.com, which correctly resolves to 69.10.233.34, so it always gets through.
This is a fairly simple and common spam filter so I'd have to consider it a configuration bug. I found my work had exactly the same problem. On the otherhand I hardly ever get spam
I'm largely language agnostic
After a while they all bug me

Mine is GMail, and sometimes the forum notifications went into the Spam folder.
