It should not be possible for these to get approved. I have seen a couple of instances now of articles that were blatant plagiarism, that I reported and included a link to the original work copied, that a day or so later show up as new, unedited articles with all the pre-approval comments removed. Once reported for plagiarism, it should not be possible for another gold member to approve the article. This is a sufficiently grievous offense, in my opinion, that a single report for this cause should take the article off the waiting for approval list. To prevent abuse, I suppose it is necessary that staff verify the plagiarism before permanently destroying the article, but it should not be possible for arbitrary gold members to wipe out the evidence by approving the article.
I continue to be astounded that people claiming to be Architects or Senior programmers would expect to get away with cut and paste from other work on the internet, but it seems to be increasing in frequency. Some people are without shame.

I don't think all of the articles I have bookmarked are appearing in the 'My Bookmarks' list, and unless I'm being thick I don't think I'm only seeing page 1 of n either.
When I go to the My Bookmarks page, I don't see a link to this article, which I have previously bookmarked:

If I then click on the Bookmark link at the top of the page, the link changes to say 'Article is already bookmarked', but a return visit to the My Bookmarks page still does not list the article.
If I go to any other articles and bookmark them, they appear on the list, but not this one.

Hi,
Does CP provide a list of the most helpful users for each programming related message board? What would be great to see, is perhaps a top 10 ranked list of users that contribute the most to answering other peoples questions.
I find that this is a big incentive for users to help others.

There is the CodeProject MVPs list, see link on the left side of the home page (and many other pages).
That is an overall list, it gets updated annually;
AFAIK there are no lists available for individual forums.
People on the MVP list get a special icon too, a little "Bob" in a yellow diamond,
so their messages can easily be spotted...

It's been little things over the last couple of weeks. Sluggishness, the problem with trying to see subsequent pages of messages (no messages show up), the Lounge panel and Last 10 Updates being stuck on 24 November in the cache, and one I don't know if anyone's brought up - on the left-side pane that shows the Forums, the right-side of the pane isn't drawing correctly (it's leaving artifacts from the dark orange border).
I just figured you guys had hired someone new and just set them loose.

Vis artefacts = me. I'm looking into it.
Database issue = teething problems of a fairly massive custom SQL farm solution.
The really amazing thing, given what we've actually done to the poor infrastructure, is that they are the only problems you saw!

There should be an indication that you've reported an article (so you don't do it more than once). Would it be possible to do one of the two following things:
0) Remove articles that you've reported from the list of "Articles Needing Approval"
1) Have an indication on the article's page that shows a) that you have reported the article, and b) how many times the article has been reported by others.

I did ask for a "I don't want to see this article ever again" checkbox from day one, but
never got it...

The system has been modified so that articles that have 5 votes with a resultant score under 2.0 will not longer be shown in the 'Pending articles' list.
No longer any need to report - just vote it down and provide some mentoring if it's awful.

... and there is a 'filter' dropdown & textbox above the person's name which don't seem to do anything. No matter what you enter and submit it stays on that person's profile.
Very minor issue, but probably takes less than 5 mins to fix (and another 10 mins to test, and another 20 mins to deploy... OK don't worry about it - it's not enough of an issue )
