The words are being used everywhere. Sometimes I feel like I walked into a cigar shop or a men's locker room the way people talk here. It is offensive.

Are the guilty ones the posters or the repliers?

removed by me. Bad attempt at humour, will probably be viewed as offensive.

I am not getting email replies to my posts. I tried replying my own post through email but never received one(not even as spam). I asked same thing in Lounge here[^]. Hans had sent out a mail to me which I did not got.
Is there anything I have messed up in settings?
I think this is right forum to post this.
The word "politics" describes the process so well: "Poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures."

After a couple of hours, I had replied to my post through email. But I am sorry I did not received anything. It might be I had set some wrong settings. Could you please help me.

To try to determine at which end this is failing, could you create a temporary gmail account, and then set this as your email address for posts (I'm not talking about your logon email address).
If emails fail on this gmail account when you click the CP email link, then it is probably something on the CP end (I use gmail myself).
If emails work using the gmail address, then you (or your company) are blocking the emails.

As I currently have some enforced free time, I was just looking at my list of articles to see which of my older and lower-rated articles I may want to update.
I see no way to order them by date or rating. I even tried the regular search for only my articles, but the ordering wasn't quite right.
If I'm missing something, please let me know. If it's not there, might you add it?

Not a bad idea. I'll add that to the TODO

You can use my CodeProject Article Scraping article, and list them in any order you like.
"Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt, 1997 ----- "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

But I'm unaccustomed to reading "good" articles.

The make sure you enter *my* CP user ID (7741) in the appropriate text box in the app.

Powershell articles seem to be scattered about through several categories.

Get in line. Regular Expressions has needed its own forum longer.

I've added it as a technology. It seemed more appropriate.

That article was written before forced comments and the removal mechanism were in place, so you're seeing a 1 vote that was prior to this system

Could we remove them at some point? Like after the new system has been in place for a year?

Intersting idea.

This is currently in the General Programming section, surely as a database it should be in the Databases and SysAdmin section?
