I have two articles of mine edited in less than 5 days; this site is becoming too nicely buggy.
Now, I'm able to read my articles and understand what I've written.
Thank you, Deeksha.

AFAIK : you can only edit article if the article is an "Unedited contribution ", Other wise you have to send mail to CP Editor with the updated article and they will do the rest !

Yes. It is.
The editing process allows the editors to massage documents into the CP format, and ensure that articles are "worthy" of the CP badge. It would be a retrograde step for you to be able to undo their hard work after.

Yes, you're right but an approval system would be nice. I mean, you edit the article using CP editor(little changes) and press update. And any admin or site dev approves it(like they do to email) ?
Do you think someone should need to write an email for a little change ?

To add to what Abhijit said, it'd be best if you used the "Get Article's HTML" link to get the edited HTML, and then made your changes to that before sending in the update. That way the editors will be able to update your article in a quicker manner.

and in the same league: there is a "LINQ and .NET 3.5" forum, what about NET4.0?

A thread titled 'Windbg' keeps appearing and disappearing.
I read the post, went off and found a solution, came back and it had gone. Went and did something else, came back and it was there again. Rather stupidly I refreshed before replying and there it was, gone.
[Edit]
It's just done it again. Is the damned thing on a piece of elastic attached to one of the hamster wheels?
[/Edit]
[Edit * 2]
I think I'm going mad. It is there again, but when I hit reply I get a message not found error. AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!

Hi Henry,
it is my experience you can't reply to a message that doesn't want to be there, so to refresh or not to refresh is not the question.
BTW: who is the inconstant poster anyway? and did you solve his problem?
maybe you should write an article about it then...

The Poster was Richard Andrew x64.
I did find a solution to his question, but I don't think we need an article on Googling. Now, an article on Gargling might make an interesting read.

Sounds like someone posted a message which was then cached on one server but removed on another server's cache. Things should catch up in the next few minutes.

I had some trouble posting last night, Chris. On the first try it would say the message could not be posted, on further tries it would say the message was already posted, but it never shows up. I posted a thread on that in the Suggestions forum, and that showed up for a while, and then vanished after 5 minutes. I made a reply above just a few minutes ago and that seems to have posted fine so whatever the issue was, it seems to be working alright now.

Voting is one option. You can buy Chris a few beers otherwise if you want your article to be the latest best pick.

That's because it works based on articles from the last 2 weeks. If there are few articles posted specifically with the ASP.NET attribute, or people just haven't been voting on ASP.NET articles, then a non-voted will be pulled into the list.

I know you told me that this stuff was supposed to be cleared out, but it keeps popping up from time to time. Just got this one, resulting in the typical page not found error:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Ann/ServeHTML.aspx?C=False&id=3025[^]
I had cleared my IE browser cache / history a while back thinking I was getting old stuff, so not really sure why it still lives.
Not a biggie to me, but thought you'd want to know.

On what page did you see that? I've traced through everything and that page should never be called.

Lounge home page (my default landing place).
I know you said last time that it was probably just cached ads on my box, but since I cleared the IE browser history / files / etc. I thought you'd want to know.
I think the hamsters may be having a little fun with you.
