I just clicked on a link that took me to http://www.codeproject.com/info/submit.asp which gave a 404 Server Error.
Can you redirect this url to http://www.codeproject.com/info/submit.aspx?

It already is redirected - but it looks like one of the servers is not playing nice with its ASP.
Thanks for letting me know.

I noticed that the pager for the comments on the current survey page[^] isn't working quite right. Even though there are 50 comments which should result in 2 pages with my default setting of 25 results per page, there's a link to a phantom 3rd page. I checked in Firefox, IE7, Opera, Safari, and Chrome, all with the same results. I can provide a screenshot if necessary.
Normally I wouldn't bother you folks with something this small, but I figured you might want to know in case it was some off-by-one bug with a query or your pager control.

Well spotted. I've fixed it locally and will upload the new code tomorrow

If you find stuff like this report it. Chris's employee's need even minor bug fixes to justify their continued employment.
Edit: added joke icon.

I don't think I quite get you, Dan. I think my team would be pretty upset to hear you say that given the hours they have been putting in lately.

It was supposed to be a joke since very little of what they're working on has had a publicly visible affect.

In The Lounge I have just had the 'can only see the first 6(ish) posts' and on refresh I got 'the adserve box at the bottom'.
Is it my turn?

Yep!
Fortunately, in my case it's only the two outside legs that are short.

Are you the famous Orsm?

No.

Has this been repeatable? Sounds like a server cycled or a connection dropped halfway through page load.

It happened twice, immediately before I reported it but no further occurrences. I only logged it here as the symptoms were the same or similar to incidents reported previously by others. I thought that if there were a problem it might help you to have an additional time frame.
Thanks.

Have you considered doing a Programming Forums Question Wizard (PFQW)?
The wizard would prompt for error message text (frequently omitted), code snippet (frequently omitted, or not formatted with pre tags), dev tool version info (VS, etc.), and OS version info.
This could be made mandatory for new members, for posting questions on any of the programming forums.

While I like to than you for giving me back the "Select Role" combo box, I'd like to inform you that it does nothing.
When I select the role as "C++ developer", I'd like to see it add tags C, C++ (in the ajax-magix-ghost-rectangle-box) and fill in the "Tags" textbox with those tags, comma separated.

That's exactly what it does for me. Do you have javascript enabled?

It is working great here at home, but not at my office PC. Both have JavaScript enabled and both are running FF. If a Ctrl+F5 will solve it, I'll try it tomorrow at office. Is there something that I should try?

Refreshing never hurts, but shouldn't really be necessary. If it continues to not work then check whether javascript is working in general, and then if that doesn't help send me a source dump of the page you're viewing and I can debug from there.

Please take a look at this[^] message. The formatting is not getting correct and some special characters are displayed.

The lang=C++ needs to be lang="C++" .
I'll make a note to see if we can get that fixed automatically.
