In this week Survey Results page here
It says: Survey period: 1 Feb 2010 to 8 Mar 2010
And it should be: 1 Mar 2010 to 8 Mar 2010

Fixed, but technically not a bug, nor an issue with the results.
Just a ham-fisted entry operator (ie me)cheers,

Anyway, it isn't like that at all. Sure it is.
The people affected by this have a serious disease and need help. whiners
They can't control the situation and it is often terrifying for them. don't tell them that.

Are there plans to allow for a proper brief description, like articles have? If not, I'd like to see that feature added..45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly ----- "Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt, 1997 ----- "The staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - J. Jystad, 2001

The issue is getting people to fill them in.
Tips and Tricks are meant to be quick little tid bits. If they need a full description, above and beyond the title, then they start to wander over into the realm of article.cheers,

Well, if they don't fill them in, then the tip/trick shouldn't show anything (as far as the description is concerned). Right now, we get what looks like the first 255 characters of the text of the tip/trick, and it kinda looks raggedy..45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly ----- "Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt, 1997 ----- "The staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - J. I only read code that is properly formatted, adding PRE tags is the easiest way to obtain that. All Toronto weekends should be extremely wet until we get it automated in regular forums, not just QA.

Except that you can't edit the abstract.
John's right - we'll have to fix this.cheers,

When you look at a tip/trick, you get the buttons at the top of the screen that allow you to ask/answer questions (Quick Answers). That doesn't seem appropriate..45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly ----- "Why don't you tie a kerosene-soaked rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt, 1997 ----- "The staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - J. I often record 'Aha!' moments on my blog. Sometimes detailing unexpected behaviours and how to work around them, or just cool ways to do things. While these would not qualify as 'articles' I think there is a strong case for feeding these to Tips/Tricks via tag much the same way Technical blog posts are.
e.g.

Great, is pulling. I have several that are well past the RSS window. Any way to get them auto-submitted or do I need to do it manually?

What if you create a <category>CodeProject-Tip</category>
inside your feed, then mark each entry you want as a CodeProject-Tip?
