Yep, now I see that my first articles was really awful and a quality of source code was terrible. But I can't just delete them if there are people (or even bots) who have bookmarked them.

Something similar, that may achieve the same thing, is to set an 'obsolete' flag on tags. Then, as tags (such as Win95 and IE6) became obsolete, we could have those tags highlighted to show, within the article, that it's potentially no longer relevant.
Alternatively a simple 'obsolete' tag that authors add to their articles may be easier.

John could have done the same.
He is talking about asp:removed things in the post.

The "Improve Question" button was nowhere to be found on the page.

Hey John, are you able to see the 'Improve Question' button now?

Hi
I submitted the following article:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/wa_webrole_startup_xdrive.aspx
I entered as the article attributes as follows:
C#, PHP, Dev, Win2008, Win7, Azure
However, article attributes are getting combined when viewed within ctl00_ArticleTopHeader_ArticleAttributes, top right corner:
C#Win2008, Win7, PHP, Azure, Dev

Is there any way I can close/remove my account??
Or I just stop using it?
"Legacy code" often differs from its suggested alternative by actually working and scaling.

Don't know why you would want to but if you really want to close / remove the account you ask here so when Chris comes along (in a couple hours probably) he'll remove it (I think)
|
|
|
|
|
No reason to remove it though, there is no personal data attached except for your email addy, and it is always useful to have if you need ever to come back.

Send me an email (chris at codeproject) and I'll remove the account. When you signed up you would have been sent a link that you could also use to remove your account - but I'm happy to help out if you've lost it.

Not that I want to remove or close account. I was just wondering if there is any facility to close an acocount.

Same here .

This holds true to me!
Web 23, 19... it is!
I believe it would be with more servers... those two were my last attempts!
|
|
|
|
|
Loads fine for me (web 21)
I think Chris tossed a server recently (because it was acting up) so that might have something to do with it
|
|
|
|
|
Web 21 is also not working for me.
Hope this will get fixed soon.

I am consistently facing it... 8/10 times type...
looks like couple of servers work fine... but most of them show overloaded!

Strange works like a charm here.
On all servers, seen a couple that I haven't seen in a while already testing this

I think mice agents have infiltrated the hamster workforce and are spreading the nefarious anarchist propaganda that is so redolent of the murine world.
This needs to be weeded out or there will be another hamster uprising like the Great Rebellion of '07 that resulted is several of the leaders being 'Flushed'.
#1 was ruthless in those days, I think he is mellowing with age.
