I spent the last week testing all this stuff and I knew that as soon as it was live the code would go feral on me
In any case - I've got nothing to do this afternoon except apply duct tape and some WD-40.
*rolls up sleeves*

Before you ask: Vista and FF3.0

They both tend to work very well. They are my main tools all day long, no problem whatsoever.

eyou talkign about the Browse Code tab? It's crapping on me too (Vista 60-whore and IE7)

Warning: DD seems contagious.
yes, that Browse Code tab, it is really great; I saw it working once today, but no more.

JSOP has been spending to much time reading 'Latest message from space' posts AND trying to decipher DD. its finally getting to him.

My typo problems are a combination of Codeproject's "Okay, you can type now" lag and this screwed up keyboard.
When I went back to check the browse code tab, I couldn't even look at my articles becase I got an error immediately. Just for fun, I did it like half a dozen times, just to generate tickets.

Luc, Also i can't able to view your article CP Vanity[^]. It says
Error: SectionID. Ticket: 2435240. Server: Web22

Should be good now

Back in working order.

I'm getting rather inconsistent CP pages layout-wise, a multitude of CTRL/F5 is in order.

|
|

Possibly because I was updating the servers in stages and you were getting stylesheets from older servers.
Should be all calm now.

It is too late to confirm that, I've seen it all by now.

Menu changes, and the article layout has changed. Of course, the article layout change completely grenaded my CPAM stuff...
Wehn are we gonna get an appropriate web service for retrieving article information?

BTW: CPVanity seems not to mind these minor cosmetic changes.

It's just moved up the list, thanks to this re-org finally being out of the way.

Any chance we can see specs early? and maybe then also suggest a few extra's?
|
|
|

There are no formal specs but I am more than happy for you guys to put together a wishlist - maybe as a tip n' trick titled "CodeProject API [Suggestions] (which could then move to [Draft])
Make it editable by Gold or above members to allow collaboration.

I just got something started. I currently have a five page Word document, and I expect to finish it at an estimated 10 pages by Sunday. I plan to upload it then, and have it discussed (not: edited!) in a thread on my profile page. I'll somehow signal the few people I want involved (yourself, John, DaveAuld, Nish). Does that sound OK to you?

eek!
(Sounds perfect. No promises, obviously, but far, far better to work on something knowing it's what you guys want and need rather than shooting in the dark)

When you guys go into the design phase for this, I'd like to offer some input. I'm sure Luc would like to as well, since we both have projects that would benefit from it.

I just noticed one of my reputation scores switched to silver (cool!) and so I hit the reputation info page.
It mentions that there is a 500 point reward for winning a competition. Is that for all competitions on the site, or just the monthly articles? I won that Zune HD for tips & tricks on VS2010 but didn't get the points. Not really too concerned, just thought I'd ask.
Cheers,
