I went and looked at it, and the Status says "Deleted" (black text on a yellow bakground).

I know this is really weird. I thought maybe it was something to do with Google Chrome so I pasted the link into Firefox and the same result, no identifier that it's deleted. Even more
It's time for a new signature.

It could have been a caching issue.
Can you see the 'deleted' label now?

No, it's still not showing, all I can see at the end of the question is the following (unformatted):

I did try Ctl-F5 before and also tried in FireFox and IE (normally use Chrome) with the same result.
It's time for a new signature.

Or coincidence?
The first post in the Algorithms forum contains a virus signature, or so my AV software reports. Whether it's an attempt to inject a virus here, or just some sample code that matches a known virus signature, I don't know. I can't display it...
The question is, do we delete the post, or leave it as a test for the unwary?

I would say delete.

I can never copy code wrapped in a PRE tag out of the browser without the newlines being removed (ie. <br /> doesn't translate into \r\n).
It'd be a nice to have a "Copy" option over the regions like MSDN[^].

I don't get such things. When I copy a code snippet (from an article, from a forum message, from a QA question) in FireFox, the ClipBoard holds different formats, none of them has BR tags, they all have CRLF pairs.
What is your browser? where is the snippet? what is your paste target?
[ADDED]
When I try with IE7, I get many more formats on the Clipboard, they all look good though, and they paste well in Notepad.
There used to be problems with IE long ago; that is why I created a tool, see my CodeRescue article.

Browser: IE 7.0.5730.13
Snippet: Pretty much anywhere there is a code block (ex. here[^])
Target: Visual Studio 2010, Notepad
I've bounced around to a few posts and found some work, some don't. It might be dependent on who posts it and their setup.

OK, I see it now. From a small sample it seems IE fails to successfully copy recent material. FireFox works fine. Old material works fine too. Must be a recent bug.

Look at the comments section of this article: 17 Channel Logic Analyzer[^]. A troll has been demanding codze and when the author explained that it won't be given, he is repeatedly lynch-voting the article. First time his voted was removed by the community, but he's doing it again now.
It's time for a new sig. Seriously.

When viewing page 2 or greater in the "Who's Who at The Code Project" section and then changing the search criteria to search anew, the new results get displayed starting at the same page as was previously viewed. It makes sense that every time refresh is clicked, it should start from page 1.

This may have been intentional, and if so, I just want to say that I don't like it.
When I set up a language filter when I am searching for an article, and then later go to Quick Answers, that language filter filters the questions. A couple of days ago, I had filters articles for c# and it took me a couple of days to realize that I was only seeing c# questions in the quick answers. Then, just now, I filtered for WCF in the articles and then went to quick answers and was wondering why there were only a couple of questions from today and several from weeks ago on the first page. Well, it was because the language filter was set.

It's like this from beginning of Q&A. Looks like everyone once a while face this issue!
We have reported the same earlier and shown our dissatisfaction to it but looks like it's in a low priority to-do or yet to be considered.
It looks like single filter panel is used all over the place and thus the value persists!

The idea was that we assumed your interests in QA would be the same as your interests in Articles and your interests in other areas, hence we made it so when you set your preferences in one area they will persist everywhere.
We have a TODO item that will be completed soon that will allow you to set these preferences in one place, and we're also revisiting the whole persistence thing. To me it seems a convenience. To others I guess it's a little confusing. c'est la via.

Same issue here, with the same version of Chrome. Might be browser-specific. Getting the same issue intermittently on lounge threads too... Haven't figured out exactly what triggers it.
Tom's workaround is effective, though obviously not ideal.
