you can't just ignore and not count it as long as one or more of these hold true:
- it takes real-estate on the page
- it has metadata (author, date, ...)
- it may have comments
- it may have votes
- its content is readable to some people (not sure why that is, but it is).

Thanks - found the issue and we'll have this fixed as soon as sufficient coffee has been consumed.

So is there a mobile version of CP for all us Android (and iPhone) folks?
|
|
|
|
|
Yes its there, since a while now...
Not very useful as all the forum threads will be expanded (i understand that all the mobile browser will not support javascript properly). Also there is no option for 'browse full website'... but you just refresh few times until you get the full website...

You're not seeing it in mobile view on your devices?

I am. But the menu appears in two rows and they're too close to each other making it hard to click. The threads are all open making it hard to find where all the new threads are and skipping long thread posts becomes a problem. I assume those are default settings that can be changed?

I'm browsing QA without any filters applied.
Sometimes when I check out a specific post, and go back to the QA forum, a filter appears from nowhere. I seems to be chosen at random (at least I can't see any connection between the filter and anything I have done).
VERY irritating; I think I'm browsing ALL the QA posts, and then suddenly I'm only browsing some of them...

Suddenly some filter gets applied automatically and based on that Q&A reflects.

I can't edit any of my articles. All I get is "You do not have permission to view this page" when I click the Edit link. Yes, I am logged in because I can edit my account information (and I can see the Edit button when viewing an article).

Sorry about that - all fixed.

He's posting[^] asking questions for help writing malicious software. Take a look at his last post.
"WPF has many lovers. It's a veritable porn star!" - Josh Smith As Braveheart once said, "You can take our freedom but you'll never take our Hobnobs!" - Martin Hughes.

He's entitled to ask his questions, and everyone else is entitled to vote his question for removal or ignore him. Removing him means I start playing whack-a-mole.

My concern is more that somebody might actually tell him.

Fair point well made. I've posted a warning to people to be careful what they answer, but I suspect you could be right.

Sorry, won't do it again.
edit: his router has its admin console thing open to the web and his login/pass are the default admin/admin. He also has telnet and ftp ports open. If this guy is a hacker, he's totally failed.
