Why posting everthing in CAPS? It is considered as shouting. Edit your post and tone down.

Yes, the attachment is not getting downloaded. It gives HTTP 500 error[^].
Once someone from CP are here, they will look into it.

Has the auto - format of links been disabled?
No matter where I paste a link (in QA or other forums) it never gets auto - formated anymore.
Happens on web24 / 18 that I'v been able to see
On Chrome 5

I can't replicate it on Firefox 3.6.8. Works perfectly for me.

K this is getting weirder with the second
Try'd to paste that link above 5 times now
first 2 was a no go
second 2 was good
last time is what you see now (no go )
All in the same message all within a time frame of a couple seconds
It used to work fine for most of the time for me. I'v reported this a couple times before but since 90% of the time it got formated I didn't care much but now it's 99% of the time that it doesn't get formated so...
Last try

Borror and Delong is the standard text book for Entomologists, it's a Bug List!

That is definitely the wrong list for it. All people do is try and make the list longer, not shorter.
BTW: it's DeLong.

It looks like a Chrome issue. It works for me in IE, but not in Chrome.

|
|
|

It doesn't work for me in IE7 (I'm at work) for anything but CodeProject articles.

It works for Codeproject articles, but not for anything else (including Tips/tricks).

And serious libel at that.
I will require all and any information you can give me about this 'Member' as I am considering legal action for the libellous accusation.

You can file a case in a Canadian court and then the court will request Code project to provide the IP address of the poster. The court will then issue a request to the US ISP the poster uses (which they will obtain from his IP address) and then get his account information, so they can identity who he is. And then you can take it from there.
Or you can ignore the words of someone who's long been associated with complete lunacy.
Take your pick

It's not like we have anything else to do, anyway. Getting tangled up in an online fight? Sure - we'd love to! And then after this one's cleaned up we'll then move on to the next one - assuming that, with only 7 million members, we can find an example of someone insulting someone else.
Maybe I should start checking messages directed at CSS and see if anyone's been saying bad things to him?

Yes they have. A couple of dozen otherwise nice CPians have been hazing CSS for at least an year now. And this is despite knowing that he's mentally unstable! For all you know, the court might turn the tables and say that these people are responsible for harassing a lesser-minded individual online
|
|

To so you're aware: labelling someone as mentally unstable can be considered libel.
SOOoooooooooo.....
How about we all just move along, eh?

Wow - I didn't think of that. I suppose now that you are doing more of a corporate/management role than a technical one, you are additionally sensitive and alert to possible legal problems.
