You think he cares?
The rep score is useless to Chris as a resume boost (assuming he's applying for say CTO of Microsoft or Google or some such thing). It won't be credible as it's his own website.

But oneing like that is simply petty. It doesn't nmatter if it was Chris, Ethel or the Pope - I'll always counter strike.

if i try to comment on an answer received for my question, I get an error message "Oops! There seems to be a server problem. Please try again posting later."

I just tested and it seems fine at the moment. Most likely it was a brief load issue. I'll make a note to make the error message a little more useful.

Just replace the word "server" with "hamster".
Just say 'NO' to evaluated arguments for diadic functions! Ash

CP so needs the message to be +++ OUT OF CHEESE ERROR +++ REDO FROM START +++ . That'll sort the men from the small pools of gloop.

If I add two comments (tried only on a question) and try to edit the first one, the second (latest) comment always gets selected.
I need to refresh the page to get it work correctly.

You should really look into implementing this[^] idea. After all, we haven't got time to check every single message before posting.
In fact, even this message may be a repost!
Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I'm not sure where this goes, so I'll try here.
Is there a problem with the CP email? I've been getting my emails to Sean at CP bounced like this:
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<##actual email address removed##>:
Connected to 207.219.70.53 but connection died. (#4.4.2)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.
[update]
I replied to Sean's email, so the address should be OK. There is currently another message still sitting in the server mail queue and being rejected by CP.

On the way. I sent it to cp.com, let me know if I should spell out codeproject in the domain name and I'll resend. Otherwise, let me know if it doesn't make it and we'll try something else.
[edit] Nevermind, I sent it to codeproject dot com. At any rate, let me know if it made it or not.

Chris, I re-sent the message as you asked in another message, but now that message is sitting in the mail server queue and has been there for over an hour. I'll check again tomorrow, but it appears there is some sort of intermittent problem.
Weird ...

Chris,
The message I sent last night to Sean and CC to you is still sitting in the mail queue on the server here. Also, the pings you requested resolved to the same IP address and both failed.

If you expand a message and the click the pin on a different message (so that it will stay open) the first message will close. If you then click on the first message again it will not open but the pale orange background on that row will disappear, when you click it again it will open but instead of having the dark blue background behind the title of the post it will have the original pale orange back colour (which disappears again when you collapse the message again)

Odd that it isn't there already. I know I've reported it in the past.
