I just came across another example. Two votes of 1 and one vote of 3 with none of them having corresponding messages. Though, that article is a bit old, so the requirement to post a message with a vote may not have been in effect for 3-votes at the time.

Hello,
As far as I know, the page where we can add a tip/trick does not have the ability to upload and show images, as it does for articles. So my question is, can i upload the image elsewhere and show them using the tag? It would be helpful if some site administrators could clarify.
EDIT - 1 reason I want to post it as a tip/trick is that it does not have enough content for an article and would just be appropriate for a tip.
Thanks!
Cheers,
Karthik

Previously others have added images to external sources and linked to these in the tip/trick, the site editors/admins will then download local copies of the images and then update the tip/trick.

@DaveAuld - Thanks. Let me go ahead and post it then!

I noticed a few days back that CP started only using the middle of my screen and wasting a fifth on either side with gray background. (Firefox latest version)
Everything feels cramped and smaller now.
Is this a mistake or is this fixed width what is considered "correct" now for websites?

Thanks Dave.
What a truly bizarre idea, it must be a nightmare to maintain.

It's a mistake. You aren't suppoesed to be able to log on at all.

Since it can happen to even the most careful, how about another button on the message editing screen that says "Check for repost". This would take the message text and search that forum for posts with that text.

It doesn't take much time to click on a random link, then paste the same post and click submit.

For spammers like that, it shouldn't take long for members to notice and click the "Report" button on the spammer's profile page. That will disable the spammer's account.

This one[^]. My apologies to Albert Holguin, wishing someone with superpowers will restore it soon.

It's still displayed as 'Deleted' here (tried Ctrl-F5 a few times, to no avail).

I was trying to find a thread I started in the Lounge a week or so ago, but no matter what I tried I couldn't find it. Fortunately, I also emailed it to a friend, so I could get the posting date, and work back though the pages to get to it (82 pages back) http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3911577/Bill-the-cat-Calling-a-Spayed-a-Spayed.aspx[^]
I searched for "Forum messages" and then, "Everything" Sorted by Relevance, and the "Date Desc", with the terms "Bill the Cat" "Spayed" "Vet" and even "Oi! No B@llocks!" (with the quotes) Nothing found it.
Does searching not scan Lounge posts?

I just typed Bill the cat into the search box at the top of this page, selected Messages and it worked fine.

When I just tried exactly that, and sorted by date descending, it goes "10 Jun 2011", "10 Jun 2011", "7 May 2011", "2 May 2011" - completely missing "1 Jun 2011"!

Works perfectly, and strangely the top item was an old CCC!
