An while we're at it, the font should be changed to something a little more whimsical, just to show what a bunch of wags we are.

I just tried to log in using IE9 under "Dij The Cat" in order to check the "Remember Me" check box was still there.
The password I had on file didn't work, so I clicked on "Lost password".
Entered the email, and the user name, and you happily sent an email with a new password.
I copied and pasted this into the log in name and password, and got:
Unable to logon: Information for 'Dij@S***********s.com' not found (make sure you enter your email address, not your username) Which is the email you sent the new password to...

That fixed it - the original password worked.
Purely out of interest, what did you do?

Since yesterday's update all emails from CP have switched to HTML, despite my having it set to Text in My Settings.
I have tried re-setting it but to no avail.
It really doesn't make much difference, it's just that I prefer my computers to do as I tell them.
If the option is no longer available, perhaps the option might be removed from the Settings page.

Didn't get a Newsletter so far today, so can't say on that one but replies and comments yes.
Except for this one from you! You did that deliberately, didn't you? Just because I'm old and easily confused. Yours was Text.
I'm confused

Text.
Your previous one was too, it's just that I saw the email notification and came straight to CP to respond rather than looking at it in my Email client.

Dear Sir,
is it possible to link my CP account with FB & Google?
I just want to skip entering password when login to CP.
Thanks,
NJ

I, for one, do not like the idea of that. I'm one of the few CP members who use their real name in their profile here, but most do not, and for good reason. I don't think it would benefit CP or its members in any way to have this integrated log in functionality. Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be done.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Cheers.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

If it's optional, why not?
It's not going to be forced on all members (since there are many here without FB or G+ accounts).

Why not just tick the "Remember me?" box when you log in?
I haven't seen a Code Project login box in months!

After I posted, I thought I'd just check I hadn't imagined the "remember me" box. Glad I didn't use my main account...
