Happy New Year,
I find it passing strange to see a Lounge thread with first post removed, with, as I write this, now, 96 responses [^].
What's the point? Why not kill the whole thread if the top-level post is removed?
thanks, Bill
"So long as … social condemnation, which, in the face of civilization, artificially creates hells on earth, and complicates divine destiny, with human fatality … so long as three problems of the age: degradation of man by poverty; ruin of women by starvation; dwarfing of childhood by physical and spiritual night: are not solved: so long as social asphyxia shall be possible … so long as ignorance and misery remain on earth, books like this cannot be useless." Because discussions take on a life of their own, regardless of the initial seed.

All of my articles have problems with the voting. The shown average is different from the votes in the graph.

Is one or more servers down? I saw an article I was interested in reading in the past but failed to bookmark the article. So I just now tried searching with several search terms and 0 results each time.
Thanks in advance.

It might be helpful to tell us the article title or subject matter as well. Hard to guess what you're looking for otherwise.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Sadly I can't remember the title. but every search I have tried (tray, system tray, system......) all have 0 results.

Hi all,
usually each time I published an article I got 100 points in reputation. This was not the case this time. Do we have any issues with reputation system?
Thanks

Please ignore this message. Everything is fine, the server was just a bit lazy this morning.

There are lots of servers. Sometimes it just takes a while to update the various servers.

Thanks for attending my query.
I am a very old member and it has been part of my routine to read daily news from CP forum.
I am receiving them back now.
One more small request, I am reading most of the articles through news feed of facebook now a days from the pages I like.
I have added code project app to my app list but do not see any news feed from code project in facebook.
I was wondering why there is no update coming from code project where as all other forums keep updating.

Keshav

Notification should appear asynchronously, then user will not required to press F5 all the time

There was a time when we had to travel to the nearest town with a library to look up whatever we were researching. Now, walking your finger to the F5 key is apparently too much trouble.
Never mind me, I'm the resident grouch.
