I tried switching between editors, and an interesting thing happened: Everything I had been working on up until then and hadn't saved was erased.
Now I am well aware that this is partially my fault: I should have saved it before I did anything like that.
However I assumed that it was merely change the interface, not change the page and reload the article. I was given no notice that anything like that would happen.
So I would appreciate if it autosaved the draft, or hell, the very least a window would pop open and warn me.
I'm well aware that the Site wants to encourage the use of the new Editor, but I find it unacceptable to lose all my work without at least the courtesy of being told I was screwing myself.
Thank you,
Jacob

Most comments do not create notifications of any kind...
See this solution - How to save file on client machine[^]. None of the comments created notification...
Here comments do created notifications - Dragging items from toolbox to form always references GAC[^]
After looking into it it seems to me that comments on question do create notification, but comments on solution do not.
It's very hard to follow solutions without notifications
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

Will there be a (temporary?) topical forum for all the World Cup discussions, or do we do it in the Lounge?
I'd rather be phishing!

Or not at all on CP!
A positive attitude may not solve every problem, but it will annoy enough people to be worth the effort.

Let's wait and see.
Maybe one of the members wishes to volunteer their personal forum?

What was your previous account? The team needs that to be able to help.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

This seems to be happening intermittently, with some people seeing it, and some not. There are a couple other messages here about this issue.

The site seems to have a lot of issues lately.

That's because your account was closed due to your actions on the site, and so you lost your edit rights.
I've reinstated your account. Please be considerate to the community.

Chris says the team is working on it. This bug seems to be of the 'Critical' priority, and the team is treating it as such.
