No, I didn't get accidently redirected there. But I didn't want to create a new account on there just to ask this...
Once upon a time, I created an account on rootadmin.com (at least I think I did). After not really using it, I forgot about the site. Well, once in a while I stumble upon it again and try to sign in. I try... and fail. And I give it up... So... what am I (or you) doing wrong?
I'm using the Google Login on CP for signing in. I don't really remember if I did the same with the RA account. At least I'm definitely using the same e-mail address as on CP, as RA displays that it is already in use.
However, I can't log in using Google Login (a popup opens, stays blank while loading, and then closes again)
I can't even get the site to let me reset the password by using the "SendPassword" page. It tells my something about cookies...

I don't block cookies. AdBlock and Ghostery are both disabled disabled...
Browser:
Google Chrome
Version 44.0.2403.81 beta-m (64-bit)
Could you take a look where it's going wrong?
Thanks

We had an issue yesterday where one of the servers was mis-configured to serve rootadmin.com instead of CodeProject.com but that was fixed quickly. If you're still seeing this please take a look at the bottom of the page and let me know which server you're on.
I've tested them all individually and they are all working fine at the moment.
cheers

I have had to create a second account on Code Project as I can't remember the password for the first account and my company is now blocking my emails from Code Project so I can't even receive the password reset email! Is there any way I can get the password reset with the email sent to an alternative address?
I asked this question under "Ask A Question" and was advised to submit it here or ask the site admin. I can't find any way of contacting the site admin so I'm hoping someone here can help before this question gets closed without any useful information (or with information that I can't read because the article is closed).
And I received an email advising my original question had been closed but 'If you wish to revise and reopen your article based on the feedback from these members then simply go to How do I access my other account? and click the "Update my article" link.' But I couldn't find the link. Can anyone advise where to find it?
Thanks

Reference Articles aren't shown in the table on your profile page. It might be useful to have them there.

Not sure if you have noticed this by now, but there is a reference articles tab at the top.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Yeah, I've seen that one, but I actually meant on your profile page, in the table of "Articles", "Tech Blogs", "Messages" etc.

I was just surfing around, when I noticed that after long time we are still members of that group. So, I wanted to discuss here "Whether that group is still required?".
Or whether there is something new coming out, as there are some great discussions on going, for example that message from BillWoodruff.

Shall I begin?
But the "longer" answer is two characters shorter than the "short" answer!

I have a similar question I have posted in the forum yesterday. Today I have posted the final revision of my article. why it was not yet approved?
Thanks.

The most recent version of your article in the queue was published 3 hours ago. It can take some hours for an article to be approved.

How many times do you have to be told this before you learn some patience? At your reputation level, changes aren't posted immediately and you have to wait for the volunteers who review the articles to actually have a chance to review and vote. Seriously, you're just going to end up annoying people if you keep popping up demanding to know why the volunteers haven't dropped everything to review your article (and remember that yours isn't the only article that people review).

I'm really sorry for my impatience. Now, I'm understanding. I will no longer raise the questions like that. Thanks a lot. Sorry.

Excuse me. I'mean very sorry for my impatience. I will never spam the forum with that question. I've already promised that to Peter O'Hanlon.
Sorry. Thanks.
