See QA site driver / abuse - gone[^].
A no longer with us user posted the same answer to about 50 old questions bringing them on top of the list. The answers has been removed meanwhile.
Quite annoying.

At a guess, it's probably related to this: QA site driver / abuse - gone[^]
When the spam answers are removed, the question returns to the top of the list, rather than going back to its previous position.

It is a pity the questions date do not go back to previous dates.

I did make the request some time ago, but I think it's fallen off the bottom of Chris' "to-do" list.

Dumping .NET Classes to Debug Output[^]
When I download the project .zip files they are invalid and come up "empty" even though they are both 26K bytes (an oddly small size for a project source tree).

They both work perfectly for me. You can see they have content when you view the browse code at the side as well.

How are you downloading them? Right Click -> Save As or clicking the link?

Right-Click -> Download Link... from Google Chrome
If I Left-Click with Chrome, Chrome displays a page of HTML innards.
M$ Edge works the opposite: Left-click goes to the CP download page. Right-Click -> Save Target As downloads a zip file that is really html.
At least with M$ Edge I can download the actual .zip...

I can download by left-clicking in Chrome. Right-click and "Download link" gets the same problem as you initially describe.

Maybe it's some extension I've loaded in Chrome...

I don't think so. When I used right-click I got a 27k zip file, but Windows said there was nothing in it. When I used left-click it downloaded 20k and the file was valid.

well clearly we're having different experiences with Chrome. You're half successful (left-click works, right-click doesn't -- so that might be a bug with CP, especially since Edge exhibits similar behavior), but I'm completely unsuccessful. So, my suspicion is that something is interfering with left-click in my Chrome environment.

The link leads to a page that specified the code's license again. Try opening the 'zip' file in a text editor and see what you get.

Yes, so the right-click, download gives me the following when viewed as a text file: (this is what is displayed also when I left-click)
If I rename that to .html, and load it into Chrome, then it's the File Download page of CP. But, of course, the file doesn't download because it's pointing to my drive not CP.
Just the first few lines...

How about adding links to things like APOD, xkcd etc., on the home page? They all appear with such frequency that it would be tantamount to a public disservice not to!

Dear SupportTeam,
I kindly request you to add new feature to uplaod image(s) with the question, which will help others to understand the question. And also add this feature in the reply as well.
If this feature is already there in this site, then, please let me know.
Thanks

This has been requested, and rejected, numerous times already. It would allow abusers and spammers to load all sorts of bad images onto the forums.

To be honest, I've seen various links to image hosting sites used when posting questions and even solutions. Nine point nine nine nine times out of ten the problem would have been better described using words, create table examples and copy/pasting some sample data. I've answered over 2000 questions and not one of them could have been improved by an image. Just my personal view, your suggestion does not get my vote

It would be nice to have also the possibility to comment for such a case (re-approvement) only for the Publisher (same like for an article which Needs approvement first time).
Thanks
