Well if we think ahead of the hackers the hackers will see that we are trying to outsmart them and figure out what their next move will be so they will do something else that we didn't think of and then they will eventually succeed.

This is similar to terrorists. Most countries try to outsmart terrorists by working out what their next move will be and to block it. It means that many times the terrorist won't succeed, but they will keep trying and eventually they may actually strike.

I do not mean that we should just give up and let the hackers (or terrorists) free reign, however we must remain alert at all times and to block any avenues that appear to open for them. Sadly, they do win sometimes.

Can't manage to P/Invoke that Win32 API in .NET? Why not do interop the wiki way!
