I am looking for a free racing game. Old style racing game without any complicated 3D stuff. Around 4 MB download. If anyone has such a game, please inform me.

I should have emphasized the 'excellent' part. There are quite a few very mediocre chat/IM clients available, like AOL, MSN, ICQ. I like Sonork much more than its inferior competitors.

Is there a way to know how many messages a user has posted on a particular forum ?
Thanks,

Right now we only have a user's total post count.
dividing wont be easy.
There are the various forums and the lounge.
Those are fixed.
But then there are the various articles, some of which often get moved/deleted.
Then the polls where we can post.
so it wont be easy for the sysadmins to do that for us.
Maybe they can select a few main forums like lounge, C++, C# etc...

That looks freaky. Watch it for long enough and you start the little dance too...

That would be cool but I think it would be a little more space efficient if there were a few options instead of upload your own. Either way it would be pretty cool!

Yes it would. I like your options idea.
Maybe the women can have nice pink barbie doll icons
And the men can choose from weight-lifters to Johnny Bravo icons

We could have a contest to submit your own and the best ones get used and maybe a CP shirt?

Is there any way of display forum messages without the junk, moving icons/coloured backgrounds etc.
I find it distracts from the content of the messsage

I have gone down to showing only 10 posts on a page at a time, to conserve my sanity on my straw to the internet.
This means that if there is a big thread and someone replies to it I click the link in Outlook, CP opens and I have to click Next about 5 times before I get to the right page showing the actual post.
Is there anyway that the link can go to the right page Chris (i.e. instead of going to the first page of the thread?) Or is that a major mission?
thanks

Good, my copyright mechanism works...
Of course you could just go View \ Source and then search for "The grea" and then copy the line

Now that the signature mouse over annoyance has been settled, I must say I agree here. I have set my post count per page to 25. Often when I click on the email link I need to click [next] 2-3 times which is awful for me with my bandwidth
I don't think it's gonna be easy cause the posts/page setting is a per-user setting. But it can be done I guess.

Thinking about it cannot be that hard. He can already get the correct thread at the top of the page, so getting the right post cannot be that hard.
Of course, once Chris replies I may be eating my own words

Where's my 'Give Paul a dirty look' emoticon.
It's not hard, it just takes a bit of fiddling, and also an extra query that could be quite expensive.

I have a few bucks lying around.... oh you mean that kind of expensive.
In that case, don't worry about it at all. I would rather have to click [next] a few times and be happy that CP works speedily
